Facility 02 - Gear Puzzle In this puzzle, you need to light all of the lights on each gear. You must repeat this step four times, where a new gear is added upon each completion.
Try to keep a balance on how many lights are missing in each square and remember that you can control how many lights are remaining. From there, you can pass the final light onto another gear by pressing the adjacent gear light that touches the empty spot.
Remember that the gears rotate on every five moves. You can toggle the back sets to align certain setups for extra help.

Try and get three lights remaining and then shuffle them together. Worry about that first; in the later ones, you can pass the lights onto separate gears, although I only found it necessary when all four gears were available.

I found a very simple method for this.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Click in the unlit spaces on the initial view.
This also works when there is more than one wheel, just
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
make sure you don't change any other wheels. So only click them if they're NOT touching. If a unlit space is touching another, solve a different wheel, or move them around by "Wasting" turns

This one is surprisingly easy to me, but explaining it is difficult. Like someone else said, for each gear: click on two empty, and opposing "one-spots". Just two of them! Then click in the center of the empty "three-spot", and then click on the full one-spot between the empty "two-spots". Then click on the remaining three-spot. Bam! Do this each time, making sure you aren't working on a spot touching another gear. I solved this in under five minutes by this method.
A two-spot means two empty/full spots next to each other. A three spot means ... you get the picture. Remember, only hit the one-spot empty twice at first, from opposing sides, and then work out getting just three-spots so you can move onto the next gear.

I can't figure out the first gear. The lights keep turning off no matter what I do! Your answers aren't helping! Can't someone just post a picture of how to solve the puzzles?

There's no real way to do that. There's no visible pattern at the end that you can show like most of the other puzzles, explaining it verbally is the only way to help.

Based on anaerin's post, I found an easy way to solve this.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
When a wheel first appears, it has 5 UNLIT segments in it. Click ONLY on those 5 segments of each wheel to light up that wheel (just 5 clicks!). When you have multiple wheels to light up, solve them in the orders listed below.
1 wheel available: notice where the 5 unlit segments are at the beginning and click ONLY those segments to light up entire wheel.
2 wheels: solve the wheel of the RIGHT, then the one on the BOTTOM using the same method.
3 wheels: solve LEFT, RIGHT, then BOTTOM
4 wheels: solve TOP, LEFT, BOTTOM, then RIGHT.

Actually, that last one should be:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
TOP, RIGHT, BOTTOM, then LEFT
That's how I got it!

Fastest is to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Click until you have one light left on each wheel. When you click in the middle of three unlit sections, it lights them all up. Wait until the three won't change anything on another gear, then click. Repeat until all gears are glowing. I think there are 10 segments to a gear, so each should only be clicked 3 times after you have one left.
