My immersion is not broken, just not as big as before, new entries still could scare me, but not as much as earlier.

Part of it could be rewatching entries for details I may have missed that weakened my immersion.

I guess this is true, the more you know about something, the less scarier it gets. Just like the Portal series, in Portal 1, I felt uneasy the whole game, but in Portal 2, I felt safe the whole game, because I knew more about the characters, I guess.

I don't know why, but the immersion didn't lower the scare level. Maybe for a few days I felt bad that I "knew too much" but that passed.

I'm skeptical if I'll enjoy EMH, and I'm kinda digging TT

Agreed. I've been watching some of the S1 entries and TTA videos randomly the past week or two, and they're actually more fun to watch now knowing a) what went into making them and b) knowing what happens now that S2 has been going on for... holy shit, almost a year now! Shocked (That was quick... we're just a little over two months shy of a year... dang).

And, watching alone in a quiet space, all of the frightening / paranoia-fuel entries still have the same effect. I still have random Slender-scares over a year after starting watching the series (especially since my cell phone service keeps getting glitchy at really random and inconvenient times).

Man, a year? I started watching MH just about when 37 was posted. Still going to be a while for me to have been here a year on the forums though.
Kind of odd, that seven months of footage took more than a year, eh? Wink

Somthing I've noticed of late

I may be the only one noticing this but, while I do adore the Marble Hornets series and while I do think it is frankly astonishingly well done given how frightening it is compared to the production values (a sharpied mask, a mannequin with pipe arms, not exactly hollywood effects here.) I also hate it at the same time because its made me paranoid and jumpy about somthing that doesn't and in fact could not possibly exist. Its not helped by the fact that the man who lives over the road from me is a tall man who wears suits, also given how common place the Operator symbol is, not good times for one as jumpy as me.

Anyone else suffering from a simillar predicament?

I'm not going to say this ever again: it is NOT a mannequin. Have you ever tried looking up the price of your basic mannequin? If not please do so while remembering the mentioned low production value of MH.
