This was posted on reddit a few days ago:

The basic info is that someone found a paragraph of this trying to visit an old website, then a google search of the 2 names led to an array of abandoned domains with a disjointed paragraph each.

So far I have found 57 of them, some of the 72 that the whois info reveals do not yet have anything on them.

Don't know if this is meant to be found? Most of the names are Russian or Ukrainian. Seems to have been translated.

All seems to be part of one narrative, and it concerns other dimensions and quantum theory, possible one of the characters is a sentient computer?

What do you guys make of it?

 		Reading through most of them and the domain names are eye catching. If it's the beginnings of an ARG I'm getting chills then. In any case I'll read through them and piece together a story hopefully. Thanks for the find! I rarely go on Reddit because of all the new content.

The few that I found (by searching for the two words not in quotes) are on the same IP address, the same virtual host server. I'd say someone just bought up a bunch of domain names, possibly for squatters rights, and you're seeing the default text being propagated to them all.

However, I didn't dig very deeply, so I could be wrong.

That is actually really cool!

I've put the paragraphs I could find into a single text file with the hopes of possibly putting them in the correct order. When I get back home to my own computer tonight I will work on finding the rest and ordering them. ARG or not it's pretty interesting and I'd like to be able to read it all in order. Very Happy

Edit: Looks like you are right catherwood. I came across this page http://performingrevolution.org which has text just like the rest but from another book/story. Too bad.

 		Yeah I have collected them all in a text file and started to clean and attempt to order them.

The basic plot seems to be 2 men (Nemirov and Katasonov) investigating an explosion that was caused when some scientist tried to measure a miracle worker in India who can summon matter out of antimatter maybe.

Found a few entries like the one above that seem to not be from the same text.

Whatever this is, I have searched the text and translated it to Russian and searched (google anyway), and can find no book that this is from, so it must be original work.

People suggested the idea that this is just to hold these domains, but why make up a story rather than just write some nonsense?

Why pick these old domains?

Dunno.

Edit: Has anyone here read the Otherland series? This somehow reminds me of that. If you haven't read it, you should it is a great series.
