This is a very interesting point and my guess is that, yes, it was (present-time) Jay that removed the beginning of the phone number from the video.

I hadn't thought of that, though. I wonder if that's what we'll see next?

 		First, I can't be the only one who was thinking, "You know, J, now would be a super time to ask about that faceless monstrosity that Alex seems to have as a roomie."

In fact, the way they were acting about it made me think that the whole Operatior thing was something they had discussed sometime before this tape, in more detail than we've seen so far.

It's also... interesting that Alex deliberately summoned J into this, and then tried to keep him out of it. I can only guess that Alex learned something (probably something not-so-good) about what happened to Amy between the time he sent the package and J showed up, but felt he had to go through some of the motions in order to keep J from being too suspicious.

I haven't got any significant theory to add just yet, because I just watched the new entry. But I was discussing it via text with a friend, and when he texted me back, the phone beep was all staticky and screechy and distorted Shocked Shocked Shocked

OK, I'm gonna keep reading now and try not to freak. Only about to page 6. See y'all on the flipside if Slendy doesn't get me.


Edit: Well, that was... a much more coherent read than a lot of these recent threads have been. And no more weird slendy-distortion-esque sounds this early-morn. But I did mention it to my fiance and he said he's been getting weird sounds from his phone, or from the TV, but only while watching or just after watching MH.

I can't WAIT to see the next entry!

Well, he never knew that he'd have to start filming himself. It started as just "finding Alex Kralie" but then blew up from there.

 		This isn't the first time that there is significant distortion when Alex rages up. Remember in 45, when he said the whole, "if you come back, I'm going to KILL YOU" it was like ridiculously distorted. We thought in 45 it was like that because the Operator was near, but in this entry, he doesn't appear to be anywhere. So it seems like Alex definitely has Operator-juice in him right now.

 		So I might be a little late to this but I was bored so I was re-watching entry 47 and Jay says he's done way more than Alex. That kind of threw me off because it doesn't really seem like Jay has had much more progress then Alex considering that we haven't seen Jay doing much on his own in the 7 month gap but wait for Alex to call him. Or am I just completely off with this?

My assumption is that Jay was talking about the whole process, including season 1.

 		This entry was good for updating my timeline and getting a bit more info on where we are in the missing months

I'm gonna continue/edit my timetable posted in the thread about Entry 46

Entry 47 => First part: Jay has a fight with Alex after he was caught breaking in. Second part: Jay calls Jessica for the first time - Date: Part One: Right after Entry 46. Part Two: The day after Part One

In this Entry Jay says it's been 3 months since Alex contacted him so we know that entry 46 + 47 closely follow Entry 45
Jessica also says on the phone it has been 2 months since Alex called her.

So now the updated timeline looks like this

The missing months

April
Entry 34 (april 21st) Tape from Jay's camera
(time between unknown but can't be too long)
Entry 35 and 36 Tape from Jay's camera

May
Entry 39 (one week after 35 so could be end of April as well) Tape from Jay's camera
Entry 40, 41 and 42 (The next day) Tape from Jay's camera AND Alex's chestcam
Entry 43 (At least one day later) Tape from Jay's camera
Entry 44 (At least a day later) Alex's chestcam And maybe his camera as well, not sure because the fisheye isn't always as clear to see

June
/

July
Entry 45 (end of July or start of August) Alex's chestcam and his camera
Entry 46 (at least one day later) Tape from Jay's camera
Entry 47 (Same night + one day later) Tape from Jay's Camera

August
/

September
/

October
/

November
On the 23st Entry 27 gets posted and we see Jay waking up from a seven month amnesia with a chestcam.

So that leaves Entry 38 and NOENTRY, NOENTRY is probably from the last few months and I'm guessing 38 is before NOENTRY.
