Look, man. I just posted something that I noticed, and you rage on me. That's not cool. There very well may be someone in the passenger seat, even if it's not canon to the actual story. I'm merely pointing out the lack of glare that in all reasoning SHOULD BE THERE. /end rage

I understand that you just joined up, and I hate to give you a negative experience, but part of me wonders if you even went through the rest of this thread. I know it's 30 pages, and that might seem like a lot, but even a casual skimming will give you some idea as to how many posts we've had like this so far. I don't think there's been any less than five or six mentionings of something that's not there.

Not trying to be a dick, but I am trying to clear confusion by making it clear to people lurking, or to newcomers like yourself that you're kind of missing the point if you're looking into trees or reflections to find your answer.

I read about 15 pages of actually paying attention, and I did see a couple people wondering about this, but I didn't see anyone point out the reflection... and for all we know, they [troshua?] were trying to bring attention to the reflection, but didn't have a good enough shot to make it as clear as they intended. Or I'm barking at ghosts. Again, I'm just pointing out something that legitimately caught my eye, and was looking for other people's speculations.

EDIT: I'm starting to wonder if anyone even notices what it is I'm attempting to point out. There is a white glare on the left half of the first photo I uploaded. The right half is the same section forwarded about 5 seconds, where the white glare is missing, as Jay's shadow covered it up. If there wasn't someone in the passenger seat, that white glare would be the size of the window, as opposed to roughly the size of a feather.

I've started drinking. Therefore, I am agreeing with everything and anything Tao says for the rest of night, and anything he says may as well be me saying it, as i agree most with the above post

Troesph: Troʊ-sɛf (n.) A combition of the names Troy and Joesph, referring to the two creators/writers of Marble Hornets.

I can kinda see what you are talking about, but since the sun seems to be coming from the front right area, Jays positioning and the phone position might make the glare move. But logically, I don't think that Troseph would make something that subtle. They like to drop hints, and I know we got Tim as masky due to epic sideburns, but i dont think anything else was very well hidden, and you're welcome to prove me wrong.

And please don't take me and Tao as being harsh on the new guy, if Tao is like me I'm sick of hearing people say they see things that arn't really there. I mean, I've pretty much learned to ckip over Prevado's posts since what he "sees" I never d oand don;'t see how. Also, I reaaaaly hope this is coherent and doesn't sound too rude

Yeah, it's cool. Again, I just wondered what everyone else thought about it. I'm usually not even one to spot Slendy in the backgrounds, let alone something like this, but I was just all "Whoa, there should be WAY more sun hitting that window" and then I was all "hey, do I see a hoodie...?" and then my imagination went to work, so I was all "Hey, wonder what they think on that board I've been lurking on" and I didn't see anyone else point it out... so I made an account and then was immediately attacked and I got all sadface and whatnot. But it's cool, because I can completely see where you guys are coming from Razz

EDIT: Also, because you said something about them not doing anything else too subtle, I'd like to point out my avatar, which was taken from a TTA video's [Inquiry's] audio put to a Spectrum Analyzer... but yeah, I kinda do think it's hard to believe it'd be that subtle, but I'd like to bring back up that they might have just given up on getting the reflection they may have been going for, and just left us with what I noticed (if that makes ANY sense)

That instance is a very good example of something that was subtle, yet clear, a something that was hard to find, but was easily seen once saw. You reflection is both hard to see, extremely hard to prove, and hard to justify...but you're right, that was a very subtle hint, and I;m surprised we fdound it.

On a side note, does anyone else want ato be a splesperson for me

I'mma just point out one last time that it might even be a failed attempt at a hint. Like, they hoped it would turn out better than it did, and just gave up after they recorded. I'll admit, this is clutching at straws...

Finally caught up. Moving overseas and reading 30+ pages takes a loooong time.

Not much to say except that:

1) I can't believe that Jay let himself be led around and tricked into doing basically nothing for 3 months before finally deciding to break into Alex's apartment. Or, rather, I can believe that. This is Jay, after all. Rolling Eyes

2) I do wonder what Jay was up to in those three months. Between his (evasive and hesitant) claim that he 'had a hunch' that something important was in Alex's apartment, and his assertion that 'I have [still] done so much more than you, Alex.' I have to wonder how much more 7-month Jay knew in comparison to Present Day Jay.

3) I know I wasn't the only one waiting for Alex to just start pounding on Jay at any moment, and I think it must speak to the level of their friendship in the beginning of the series that he didn't hit him. It's pretty sad, looking back on what a funny, laid-back guy Alex used to be (Entry #20) compared to the way he behaves now. I'm kind of hoping for some character redemption on his part - MH in general doesn't really seem to be about villainous people doing evil things, just normal dudes caught up in an insane situation.
