I introduced my friends to our pal Slendy, as well. When they first got into MH, they had a typical "Oh crap that's scary cool," the same kind of effect playing Silent Hill with 20 people in the room with you generates. A cool kind of scary, not terrifying scary.

One of my neighbors is well known in our area for building county-award-winning Halloween displays - his wife's a costume designer and he's a carpenter, so between the two of them they pull of some really insane stuff. Fortunately, I do yardwork for them regularly, and exchanged a week of work to borrow one of their "hangman" dummies - a tall, inhumanly skinny doll. Dress him up in a suit, prop him up with some stilts, and hang him from a tree so he "waves..." lolz ensued when I suggested we play "Ghost in the Graveyard" at my house Very Happy

Time it took to realize it was prank: 37 minutes, 22 seconds. I managed to slip out and take down the dummy before they went out to inspect it, which gave me a good 25 minutes of paranoia to laugh at. They eventually found where I'd hid it under my car, and one recognized it as the hangman doll from next door Razz

Thankfully I haven't introduced them to EMH... my friend Alex has an extensive knife collection (seriously, his family has a knife collection dating to WW1, Evan would weep for joy).

No need to get elaborate, people. The beauty of SM is the simplicity. All you need are a few sheets of cardboard taped together, cut into a very rough slendy shape and spray-painted the appropriate black and white, leaving the face brown. Ta-daaaaah! Instant Slendy for under $5.

Bathroom:
Tape him up behind a shower curtain after your target has gone to bed. The next time they go to take a piss, they may not make it to the toilet. Bonus points if they happen across it in the middle of the night, half-asleep and still foggy from dreaming.

Closet:
Tape him up behind hanging clothes in a closet. Even if you have to cut him in half, and tape half of him under the shelf, and half of him over the shelf. Your target will have already sharted before they realize it's impossible for Slendy to be standing upright when there's a shelf there.

Garage, Living room, Kitchen, Back yard fence, Hanging from a tree in a public park... the list is endless. Anywhere he can be seen from a distance, or anywhere you can be sure the target will see him peripherally before they can see him head-on. You can literally get someone a good half dozen times before they get good at spotting him. If you're really clever, maybe even more.

Do the pranks still count if they're accidental?

I got a Masky mask for Halloween last night and went to show my brother. What I didn't realize was that he'd somehow fallen asleep sitting up with his phone in his hand. I also didn't have my glasses on under the mask, so I legitimately thought he was awake until I sat down by his bed. Wondering why he wasn't reacting, I leaned over and only then saw that his eyes were closed.

He of course chose that moment to wake up, look over, and scream and flail about a bit while I toppled over backwards, pulling the mask off and flailing about myself because I'd lost my balance.

So basically I just woke up a Marble Hornets fan to Masky staring right at him. D:

Feeling terrible, I apologized profusely, and he said it was okay and went back to sleep.

The best part, though? The next morning he had no recollection of the event. Unless he suddenly recalls it, I'm completely off the hook.

Total cost of prank: Just over five dollars, assuming you have jeans, a hoodie, and whatever paints/markers you want to paint your mask with prior to the prank. Technically not Slenderman, but Slendy related and apparently still pretty startling.

I have one slightly recorded on film but I was attempting to hide for the most time. We were trying out some shots for my VLOG when two people were walking down the road. I made my Slenderman actor stand between my two cars, motionless except for his body to turn in their direction. They only turned when I made some racket and exclaimed, 'Holy shit thats creepy!' And kept looking back until they made it into a house.

I lol'd.

Prank today

Okay so today I have just purchased a morph suit from party city and its the one with a tuxedo on it. It looks allot like slenderman but I have one issue. My cousin is throwing a Halloween party today and I need a way to prank her like her back yard is pretty much a forest and I need to know how to prank her good any ideas. Oh yeah her and all of her friends have watched mable hornets and clearly know who slender man is.

In my World Literature class I share a long table with another student, I recently decided to slowly try and develop one of those Slender Journals in my class notebook (I never use it anyways). I started by drawing several operator symbols on several pages very casually, on wednesday I drew a stick figure Slender Man for the first time, the other student looked coriouse but didn't ask what I was doing. The next stage of my plan is to learn binary and write cryptic messages in my notebook with it, to my knowledge this student has never heard of slender man, and does not understand any kind of code. I'm doing this anyways, I figure by the end of the semester my notebook will be filled with slender men, operator symbols, binary and creepy 'HE SEES ME MESSAGES'. I wonder if he'll ever ask what's going on...

I have a beautiful one. So, I'm in a college advanced calculus class, I.e. Boring as fuck. I started doodling slenderman, very typical scratchy drawings and creepy messages, and I notice the guy next to me is paying attention to what I'm drawing like he knows what slendy is. So I figure, I'll have a little fun with this guy. I started doing it everyday, all class, doodling slendy, and leaving these messages all over my textbook and journal and stuff. Finally, one day he comes up to me after class, and (I couldn't have planned it better) he's all bashful and shy.
"Hey," He says, "I like your Slenderman drawings."
So I stare at him for a minute, blink, and as straight-faced as possible...
"Slender-what?"

I think he shat himself. It was adorable.
And yes, I am a horrible person.
