Synesthesia

No one seems to have started a thread for this yet.

Recently the hints have been way too helpful, but this time I thought they just made things more confusing. Personally, I'd say people are better off skipping them.

synesthesia

I could use a bit of help. Perhaps I'm overthinking it. But color names have never been a strong point.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
What would you call the number 9? Cyan? Teal?

And B--It's a green but there's a richer green next to it. So is it lime?

And allspice is a sort of orangy color but it's richer than the T and the V of the puzzle so I'm not sure if there's a relationship there or not. NOT REALLY A SPOILER

Some guidance would be welcome if anyone cares to share. Thanks in advance.

You don't need to name the colors.

Agreed. I found that this was much more challenging than in recent weeks. I enjoyed it a lot.

The clues seemed redundant, but they were helpful.

I found myself wishing I knew how many letters were in the solution. Spoilers ahead:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Eleven.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Does it have to do with the hex codes for the colors? Do we need to bust out a color picker?

Not at all.

Try this.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Maybe shuffling around which letters you choose based on the color of the letters would help.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to precisely identify each color. It turns out:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You don't need to know the name or the hex code or anything of any of the colors. All you have to be able to do is tell which letters are the same color.

Yet another puzzle that is tough luck for solvers who have limited color perception.
