I'd def want to start looking out for this guy and his videos.

I've also been PM Leo(in-game), but so far nothing has come up of real note. Just me saying I'm glad to see him again(Episode 50), and some speculation(such as "Why no one remember cop-car?", and "What is that place?").

I agree. I find it odd that people pay so little attention to this series anymore, but that won't stop me from enjoying it.

It seems that Leo has gone to "The Path of Black Leaves" and he doesn't know it. I think that the atmosphere was effectively depicted and I like how the "Path" looks. Its funny because another series I watch, XMandelbrot, has been using the "Path" as well, but in a much less visual approach. There version isn't bad, but I have always preferred showing over telling.

Leo never actually met Ken. His existence was mostly to be used as a plot device. It seems that not much has changed.

It seems that I didn't need to explain about Ken. "Hooker" is really a piece of work. I'm not sure how to feel about him yet. This entry was essential, I understand that, but I've always hated recaps. That's my biggest gripe. I found the interactions between Leo and Hooker to be awkward, but in a amusing way.

I wasn't a fan of the interaction. Hooker just seemed like an A-hole and Leo just wasn't digging that, same as me.[Kinda hoping Crazy Leo comes back and murders Hooker. /Murder]

 		I just archive binged this whole series after seeing it referenced so many times here. I don't know that I'll keep up with it. In my own personal opinion it seemed to have the worst parts of several other Slender Vlogs mixed together, and not even done well. And I probably could've overlooked that, except for one other glaring issue: Leo. I don't give a shit about this guy at all. Furthermore, he brought it all on himself. The only person I feel for is his wife, who I suspect is much better off without him.

Been a long time since this series posted. Kinda surprised to see a fairly new comment. It is a shame because this was one of my favorite series. After this series, Broken Heart Chronicles and a few others faded I lost interest in the mythos for some time. Recently I noticed BHC came back for a few entries. It gave me hope that this might be back as well. It seems not.

SilentMedusa you sure seem to have a lot of anger towards this series. despite the fact that you watched the entire series fairly unscathed. My advise: If you find nothing enjoyable in something you are watching then then stop watching before it is completed or stop lying to yourself about how you feel about what you are observing. I know I have turned away from many a festering pile attempting to be a Slender Man series.

In defense of the Dead Are Watching the acting may not be the best, but it feels honest. The effects may not be the best but they got better as the series continued and as far as similarities with bits and pieces of other series go, well look at the age of the Dead Are Watching. Chances are this series did it first. Also this series took risks. No tie on the Slender Man, stretching arms, apparitions / hallucination, going to the Path of Black Leaves and adding the Slender Man last. This series may not have been the best, but it wasn't nearly the worst either. Not by far. Nor was it afraid of being different. It stood out and was unapologetic for its choices. I can respect that. It is unfortunate if you can't. But to each their own. Take my opinion as you will.

I wouldn't say it's "OMG, worst Slender vlog evar!!!11!"; I haven't watched nearly enough of them to say that. And honestly, the reason I watched all of it is because I thought I might change my mind. I didn't like Tribe Twelve or Everyman HYBRID at first either, but by the end I really looked forward to watching each of them.

And I guess I could dial down the rage; I suspect there were other things going on that day that I vented inappropriately here. But I stand by my opinion. Smile

It is fine to not like whatever you choose. I would stick by my guns too. Everyone is welcome to their own opinions, but if your opinion borders on slanderous then it just goes to say there will be people like me who give the 180. In other words force for force to find balance.

My advise for getting through a series that never really made it BIG, because there are tons of them, is to watch the last few entries first. It will give you a good feel for things and usually later the series has a better footing. So if the last 4 entries, or so, don't capture your attention then its usually better left alone.
