To expand on my point about DNC not wanting Chris dead, he's actually said this before. He's trying to set it up so that Chris reaches his breaking point so that DNC can die/be killed/saved/whatever and Chris will take his place in the cycle. Or, DNC's implied it very heavily at least. I don't know the exact quote, but it's there somewhere.

I'm trying to find the red mask in the MDT tapes too. I KNOW it was there, there was a discussion about it. It's when we realized there IS more than one or something? One of them was sharpening his tools in the same video I think? They all run together....

well thats one thing answered as well Now I checked the convo between them so im not sure what this kid was thinking do you think he has anything to do with this or was just trying to get DNC trust and get info? well thats what i think on this but DNC is random at many levels that its hard to know what he will do next well he does make a few things simple but others are just a question.

Uuuuh, what? The people talking to DNC are MEANT to talk to DNC, it's not a gamejack or anything. BoxOfMirrors is Jono, a player who's active on this thread. DNC is having this challenge/trials thing where he tries to get the players to kill someone to "be like me", a basic challenge for any meglomaniac killer, create more followers.

 		What DNC is doing seems to me to be like a less hardcore version of the trials of Habit. Whether he will reward his followers or not, it's hard to say, but it helps certain people get information.

Regarding the red mask...I dunno. I put them side by side and they just don't look the same to me. Maybe I'm just nuts. The other one seems more cracked and worn, and the mouth piece seems more obvious.

 		I think that's just his way of saying that the question is redundant. I don't think the mask is anything other than a symbol, something to show that this is the guy who has killed this person.

You're probably the last person in this thread who should be pedantic about punctuation. To put things in perspective, you have a number of errors in the very breath you used to lecture him. Your writing throughout this thread has been a loose amalgamation of fragments and run-ons with commas sprinkled liberally in between for good measure. I know how this happened too. Someone once told you to pause whenever you read a comma, so you made what is called a mistaken reversal. You switched the sufficient condition with the necessary condition in that logic chain, and you decided to write a comma every time you would pause in verbal conversation. That's just ignorant of grammatical standards. I can think of maybe five or six times you can legitimately use a comma off the top of my head. Lists, interruptions (requires two around the interrupting idea) when you don't use superior hyphenates to do it, compound sentences, some complex sentences (not most), complex-compound sentences, and--if you are of the persuasion--an oxford comma at the beginning of some sentences. But that probably won't fix your writing, I mean just look at how you modified dox: "dox-ing." Wtf. I mean, WTF? Why is there a hyphen in there?

Anyway, you look like a goddamn fool whenever you write, but that isn't that different than your normal modes of behavior. Let me specify. You are a freshman or sophomore in college pursuing a bachelors. A bachelors is an introduction to a subject. Upon graduation you are not really an expert; however, you were probably taught by experts. I say probably to account for varying circumstances. Anyway, when you are under the junior level, you are not in upper-division. You have probably realized by now that a high school education is really glorified babysitting. Upper-division is where you learn about your subject from the experts. Lower-division (what you're in) is where you are taught the skills, that you probably didn't pick up in high school, which enable you to study the upper-division material efficiently. So, when you present yourself as some kind of authority on psychology or criminology, you look like an idiot since you clearly have a superficial understanding mostly derived from popular works of culture. Sophomoric. It describes you, motherfuckah. When you talk about types of serial killers while name dropping, you betray yourself. You think it builds an ethos--a sort of background character. You think it lends you credibility. You might even think it to be useful drivel. However, it doesn't come off as something you learnt from a lecture hall; it seems to be the result of watching way too much Criminal Minds. Shows like CSI, Criminal Minds, etc. are entertainment. You understand that, right? They require a suspension of disbelief (some more than others) because they are not an accurate depiction of reality.

Anyway, I am going to do your family a favor. Go tell your family that you have decided it is not important to pump time and effort into solving meaningless crap puzzles for various ARGs on the internet, so you will now make a better use of your time to make sure you graduate with an honors distinction, engage in the business of being a college student (e.g. student government participation, sorority memberships, maybe learn to cook better), and maybe even get an internship or part-time job shadowing people who actually do this professionally so you can see how the pros do it and stop talking out of your ass. Now, commit to what you have told your family, and your life will improve. I practically guarantee it.

You should listen to me on this last point, Meredith, because I am smarter than you. And I am also more experienced than you. Also, DNC is not a megalomaniac. I am a stunning specimen than many would describe as megalomaniac. I am not DNC--though I did steal his mask a number of times and there were no repercussions what-so-ever.

But I think we should focus on the ARG, not on how people type. We're all here to have fun, not to fight.
