Remember now the picture makes me think, Emily is the girl in the painting? painting belonged to Gerald?

Yar. It's rather obvious it's DNC, IMO.

It could be Emily, but the hair seems too short. But it does make the most sense.

So who is this girl? She looks like Emily to me, but Emily should look older by now, unless she has just aged well. She looks a bit too evil to be a victim to me.
Also, is the Raven just symbolic? Or are they performing some kind of ritual?

A lot of us think that this blond girl is Emily. This cap is from #34 first tape from storage locker, but we've seen the same girl in a lot of the original MDT videos. But yes it could also be Melissa, she just looks more like Emily to me, with her hair dyed dark of course.

Okay, so I promise I won't spam you guys with pictures, but I started my actual drawing for DNC. Happy with how it looks so far, but that damn bird makes me nervous, with all the feathers and highlights/shadows and details and shit.

I can't really understand what's happening on the picture. And don't be carried away with details, whole composition matters the most.

I'm beginning to think it is Melissa in the video, yea. It does look a lot like Emily, but... it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But Melissa's eyes look more round, if that makes sense.

About the bird thing, Waitress and I have been throwing a few ideas around in IRC and one of the ones I've been wraping my head around is that it's a call to war, basicly. Since, in Celtic mythology, the raven is all about being there during wars and battles, and are very important in a lot of the war gods and goddesses in Celtic myths. But, notihing in MDT has referenced Celtic myths before, so that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

We then started asking if it's part of some cult-ritual thing, but IMO that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The DNC cult hasn't doing anything ritualistic before now, so I can't quite wrap my head around that one. Maybe I'm looking more at 'ritual' as a magick or supernatural ritual (since I've been burying my head in Celtic and Welsh mythology and religions for a few weeks now for a story) and it's a ritual but a ritual that's closer to.... Ugh. Lost my train of thought. I'll edit this later when I'm not doing five things at once.

Right. In one of the videos found by Chris (# 24), for me the more disturbing, get a bunch of flies on a spot (with maggots?) of what could have been a corpse of a small animal (a crow?). This follows a masked man that we have not seen, really weird, completely covered and look like they have horns under the mask. For a moment we remove a body from the ground and the father of Chris seems affected. Then we know that is not the blonde girl because then we see her tied to the chair.

I think back to see the masked man with horns. I think it's the ringleader of the group. And so maybe if it is a ritual, a way of paying tribute to this leader ....
