 		the last video seems like the man in the mask doesn't really want to be recorded and really doesn't know what he's supposed to do at first (my opinion)...wish i could read lips of someone in a head-sack..

 		It also looks like he may be severely deformed under the bag. Look how far his mouth extends to one side. (of course I could be wrong).

He does seem to be being told what to do... despite his holding a weapon and creepy appearance, he doesn't even seem that threatening. Like some sort of early screen-test, villian casting.

Yes waitress and I both tried a spectrograph.

Both of them have weird shapes at around the 3 minute mark (Waitress has them much clearer on her image)

Unsure if they mean anything or are just accidental.

that looks like binary to me. i'll play around with the image, see if i can get it clearer and then translate it. probably nothing, but who knows

 		So the backmasking in the last DNC video has been bugging us in the forum. After a bit of editing me and Waitress found 3 things: a news report, a website and a phone number

So I tweeted at DNC:

The onion suggestion gave me an idea, and if you remove a certain band of frequencies all you are left with in is the music and the news report, it removes the conversation between DNC and the victim totally. After a bit more fiddling to make it more hearable you end up with this:

Now, after a few listens I think I have worked out what it says, but I would love other peoples opinions on it.

But I think it says

"In 7 days when the oil rig he was working on collapsed ______ the radio DJ ___on January 1st 2012"

Now google does point out that a Russian oil rig sunk on Jan 1st but its not widely reported and has no link to the current plot, so I don't know.

well, this would not seems to be related with this plot, but, we have another reference to a dramatic accident (the cover of newspaper about the Shuttle Challenger explosion) and, other hand, this remind me the list with random locations (states, countries, towns and geographic sites...) what we seen at first vid of DNC.

 		Well, I do not know which theories you will have about this new entry, but I think Chris is the one who wrote that, although he does not know. Since the death of Kathleen we have seen don the mask of his father, accompanied by a dog, self medicate and continue watching the videos of the floppy disks. The first pair of points remind me of the type of entry # 38, self-medication can be left in a vulnerable state and lead to gaps in memory and continue to watch those videos in that state may induce depression. More difficult to believe is the possibility of a split personality. And in this, that the alter ego of Chris has kidnapped someone who would have written that. In any case always be more logical that someone entered his apartment completely closed, asking for help and that he did writing in a mirror and then is gone.

After a discussion on the irc I think I am with you on that one really. Xannex does cause memory loss if used in high doses (it basically mimics being drunk). This also puts a diffrent spin on the "I'm not safe" line as while it could mean "someone is after me, this building is not safe" it could equally mean "I am not safe mentally and am going to do something stupid"

Really we can rule out most of our major players

DNC- Could have had the key, he has contacts and Chris has been off his head making it easy to steal but has no reason to write "help me"

Emily- Would make sense for her to write "help me" but logically why break into someones house write a help note and then leave rather than just waiting for them

I have a personal alternative theory (which is a little out of the box)

Adams: He could get a key pretty easily, he could have taken it when with Chris or even convinced Chris to give him one for protection, or just got the landlord to get one. We know Adams and DNC have history (which we don't know much about) and Adams seems more pushy for Chris to kill DNC, in the recent videos its not been "well if he comes for you, get him" but more "you need to do this, it will not end until you do". Its in Adams' interest to keep Chris unstable, Adams wants DNC killed but can't do it himself. Chris can, in most peoples eyes it would be defending himself from the obvious threat. So by leaving a message like this he hopes to make Chris more proactive in attacking DNC.


But in all honesty I think Chris writing it is more logical and a lot more likley.
