I never saw such "tables" before? Anyone can help? Maybe also some code in there?

That's for now, just my 2 cents after watching it 1 time and what came up in my mind! Smile

The tables are actually basketball statistics from the NBA in the 1980s. Players like Larry Bird, Dominique Wilkins, Kareem Abdul-Jabar and others are what give it away.

Edit: Looking at a high resolution picture, the numbers are visible. It appears to be a chart of scoring leaders, which picks up approximately where the second chart leaves off. Hard to tell if they are from the same day or season.

The second is the scoring leaders, and the third looks to be from one particular game.

I think these might be from 1986, in connection with the silver dollar found in the lockbox, but I'd need to do more digging to see if there are records online for that time online.

The third table appears to be the box score of this game:

Edit: just read previous post. Yes they are from 1986.
Reedit: After looking up some names, list 1 does appear to be a continuation of list 2.

It looks to me that one of them has the typical green treasury seal we see now, but that the other two have a blue seal. The blue ones are older incarnations of the dollar bill, which I think were actually old silver certificates.

The selection of a Houston Rockets game on the day the Challenger exploded seems a little odd.

I tried looking up the serial numbers for the three dollar bills on wheresgeorge.com.

None of them have a record on the website, but the last dollar bill says:

"The Serial Number you provided V56188160A is not valid. It must start with a letter, then have eight numbers, then end with a letter or asterisk (and no spaces). The serial number V56188160A you entered has never been printed. Please re-try."

Update

Tweeted and asked him if there were any other notations in the book. My first thought was that the numbers in the scores may correlate to pages/words in the book, athough I don't know if that makes sense.

He said he is scanning something strange in the book now.

I'm guessing based on the color and the presence of random lines above and/or below some of the states, that they're clipped out of another magazine or book. Maybe the same publication the score sheets came from?

But yeah definitely a kill count.

Does it seem to anyone else that the red ink and black ink are two different killers? Notice how when the ink changes it starts another set of five, not continuing the set of five before it (when applicable). Also the cross line is definitely slanted with the black ink, and mostly straight with the red ink. Maybe insignificant.

Also of note: The chain in the lockbox was clearly a dog collar.

Edit
Thats a choke chain ... not a dog coller... its a training tool.. and if you need that you can't control your dog.. maybe the zodeac needed to control someone that got out of hand?
Edit i dono how it became 2 posts... sorry for that i was just editing

Texas is referenced via the receipts and newspaper clippings, but it's not on the "scoresheet," even though the rest of the southwest and 3 states from the deep south (North Florida is part of the deep south) are?

Also noted that the bottom left column are western states which when combined are contiguous, bottom right column states are in the deep south, Michigan is left by itself as a north-midwest state, and the upper-right states are part of the atlantic shoreboard.
