Bit of a necro to say happy holidays to everybody. (wtf there's snow in Texas!) and wondering if DNC will do anything special for NYE like he did last year. Also my computer issues are finally over so tomorrow I'll have the who-has-what-mask thing posted, probably.

 		Boxes, Ponies and crazy NYE shenanigans
Phone call crazyness from DNC last night. I was at my boyfriends for NYE so he was bugging me during it, which led to some rather silly atmosphere-ruining moments. IT was interesting because DNC was talking a LOT more than normal, so I was kinda lost on what to say. (also because it's really hard to understand him)

It was basically just taunting stuff, "Come outside...I want to cut (? something i couldn't make out) off you" or something. I think it was my hair?
"Are you alone?'
"No. My boyfriend is here."
"Does he know about us?"
"Uh, no..."
"I'd like to keep it that way."
(Sorry Jono.) XD

Then a few more phone calls and he says he's gonna open the box ("It's a very large box.")
And Ramiro goes "What's he doing?"
Me: "He's opening the box."
Ramiro: "OH, OH, IS IT A PONY?"
I start laughing and then DNC comes back on the line and asks "WHAT is so fuckin' funny?"
Ramiro grabs the phone and starts mocking DNC, much to DNC's hatred. (I had a lot of fun even if the atmosphere was totally killed when Ramiro went "I'm just sitting here playing Skyrim, and you're just opening a box. What did you say? it sounds anti-Semitic. I can't understand you...Oh, you want to talk to [OWP]? Okay."

And then the killcall:
"My name is Sophia, I'm supposed to be dead. I will die and bring a new dawn to 2013. Tell my mother I love her. He is always watching, always waiting."

So. Yep. That. Happy New Years to everyone!

And thanks to the actor playing DNC for being so patient with my game-breaking boyfriend and my constant asking "what? I don't understand what you're saying." because DNC was crazy hard to understand most of the time.

So boxes...lots and lots of boxes....

Pandora's Box? that would lead to a new dawn a dawn where the gods have a lot less power.

A few cultures have myths around boxes or box shaped objects opening.

However the only thing I can think of after the "keep you there forever" line is a Pandorica...so I shall fetch a mop
