Just coming out of lurk mode to say hello to all. Seems like the following for this game is ah, how shall we say, intimate. I'm not sure I caught all the decodes and extra content, but I'm excited to see where this game goes.
Either way, you guys are clearly code-solving pros. It'll be a pleasure playing with you...or more likely piggy-backing off of your cleverness. ^_^;

Okay, so Chris texted a lot, a lot of it stuff I can't get to because my phone is broken and won't let me scroll up...
BUT. Important highlights:
Chris is gonna talk to Adams about getting himself a gun to protect him/Lilith.
Chris bugged me more about the matchbox so I had him put it under the blacklight like he did with the lockbox, and this showed up:

Right....so matchbox...this is one of those times I plan to throw everything at the wall and see what fits.

Alice In Wonderland

So Rabbit hole makes me go back to Alice for a bit. Fire is not a common theme in the books. Alice does say there will be a bonfire tomorrow in Through the Looking Glass. This actually dates the tale to November 4th one day before Guy Fawkes day during which the University her father worked at would have a rather large bonfire.

So....not useful.

Cassandra

So why would Cassandra have matches....we could presume she picked them up while working at an adult theater but it seems an odd thing to keep.

In myth Cassandra's prophecy was that she brought forth a fire from which many serpents spewed from. This led to her outing Paris who would later get judged.

Lilith

I cant find anything relating to Lilith or Succubi and fire...some places use candles to summon them, but nothing directly linked.

Adams

Now I can logically think of why he would have matches. Cigars. They are the only people who really use matches anymore (as opposed to lighters) and he is of the generation that would smoke cigars.

And we know DNC knows something about Adams, maybe he knew his favorite hooker?

Someone from an old video

We did see silly masky smoke in the one video and he is one of the very early and old videos. He would use matches as well as it was common at that time to use them for all kinds of smoking.

Why did it turn up now? Did DNC find out he had someone else perusing him and decided to clear up the evidence.

Sorry, not any actual IG updates, just wanted to get this out there to maybe have another discussion over on Mibbit (which has been dead for a while, since it's been a month since the last update... not that I'm impatient... XD)

Anyway! I was going over stuff and things about the matchbox, again at 1AM because apparently that's the only time I think of ideas... What if Don's barn is where the next clue is? Maybe the shop itself isn't that special, but the clue is that there's something in the shed/barn with the random horse that Chris missed? Or in Don's house? Also I think maybe next weekend/whenever I have more time to spare I might go through the early vids to find the one wit the matchbox in it because I KNOW it was on one of the VHS tapes, wasn't it? :/ Maybe it wasn't...

Viewing DNC last video, I think it was not difficult to find that phone number. The video is made up of scenes from previous entries. Chronological order could be the key ... but it's too late for that.
