If he was counterfeiting, he was doing so in very small amounts each time. The money order says 113'99$ which strikes me as an odd number. I don't know how well that translates to "today's" money, but it does seem like a very specific amount.

hell if i was printing fake stuff i would print travelers checks..not cash no one remembers what travelers checks look like and every one takes them
