I think the issue is less that the game is unplanned, and more that we aren't interacting with the characters in a way that allows the PM to further the game. The fact that emails are now out because of the gamejacker doesn't help any.

 		I'm still new, so that stuf I'm a bit nervous about helping with. I do agree with it, though. This stuff seems pretty well planned, i think. What do you suggest we sould we do in that vein?

 		we should probably attempt to engage the character(s) in any way we can. let's call the phone number, tweet back, etc. maybe we need to push on the storyworld to create the path into it. i'll try the phone number today. just need to come up with some ideas to share.

 		I actually think using twitter is better than email but I don't really have anything useful to tweet right now. Sad


I've been thinking about the girl's phone call and at first I thought she was in a lecture and that's why she was saying she shouldn't be calling from here. But when I listened to it again she's not really whispering so I don't think she's in a lecture but she could be just outside or outside an open window or something. Which begs the question as to why she says she shouldn't be calling from "here". It's a weird thing to say.

 		We can ask hm to be more specific about his motives or who/what he is working under/where he gets his orders from. Possibly ask about the meanings behind a few of the pictures. If the creators put enough effort into researching serial killers, we could assume they did a bit of research into his psychology as well, so I'd assume that he would be willing to possibly answer our questions. I'll make a twitter after school today and ask if someone else doesn't already.

the "Magician" card is interesting.. check it out

 		sorry to double post but i wanted to throw out a couple things to you guys.

do we know everyone who is "following" @downthispath? maybe a victim among the 25? idk. i'm just now checking it out. (same for @MyDadsTapes)
and weird to me that @MyDadsTapes doesn't follow @downthispath.

i've tweeted @ both today. no reply yet. promise to post if i get anything.

I emailed him about his motives after he sent some emails to weakandwounded (the ones on page 22) so he might reply if you ask him something based around those. Those are the only times I think he spoke about his motives.

 		Re: the emailed poems. The second poem seems like it's pointing out the first one as a gamejack... was that ever confirmed or not? Are the addresses the same?
EDIT: It was, my bad. I read through all the pages over two days, but it's just so much to take in it's hard to keep track of it sometimes.

EDIT AGAIN: I tweeted him asking who he was awaiting orders from, I wish I had had enough characters to cite the poem itself.
He responded with this:

I didn't want to accidentally ask something like that and force the PM's hand... I'm still not entirely sure how interaction works exactly. Would it be okay to ask something like that this early on? I mean, logically, the should be able to come up with something but still... I have this nervous thing where I'm afraid I'm gonna be the one to end up singlehandedly ruining any ARG I join. Crying or Very sad Eggshells.

I can't tell if he says high in my sleep, or I am Wesley. I wonder beacause Wesley is my first name, which he knows. Also he tweeted it as a response to a user named stonedaffection, so either is plausible to me

 		That makes sense, good observation.
edit: assuming its a real voice disguised, that really makes sense because of the accented syllables. If its a computer voice, it still works but isnt as definitive. I think it may be a real voice that's been modulated. Actually after listening again it could easily be a computer program because of the deadpan monotone drawl, but it could be a heavily distorted human voice.

 		I've been watching this game for a while and interacted with MDT on twitter (@maximus_freeman) pretty early on but then got distracted right after the first code was solved.

Anyhow, the audio in DNC's latest video "ur prays do not go unanswered ø" has a really characteristic sound -- it sounds just like the reverse speech in Twin Peaks. So I went ahead an took the liberty of reversing the audio to get the syllables as recorded: http://soundcloud.com/maximusf/2011-10-24-dnc-video-audio

So DNC says "worship me" and also "ur prays will not go unanswered" but how do we worship him and have we been? Also as best I can hear he's either saying "I am listening" or "Are you asleep?"

 		it would appear DNC has tweeted me back. I told him a while back to please kill the blonde due to a recomendation, with no response. alas give him a slight nudge and he appears courteous to respond. I think if someone wants to get information from him, it should be a girl. has nobody thought to try and 'bait' themselves?
