Well this was fun and creepy to begin with, now it's starting to just get plain creepy. Especially with some of the recent fiction/reality line blurring. I'm starting to get paranoid myself. Oo

That's intersting. Another gender/smileyface combo like the umethem. If it's oog them then it sure is a strange coincidence. And didn't he say earlier about "said I have no heart, now I have two" after he killed his second [known] victim?

This might just be me being paranoid again, weakandwounded, but really I'd suggest not getting into contact with him again, his email seems really stalkerish, both IG and majorly OOG. Stay safe. He mentioned knowing where you live... unless you gave him a false lead, which is smart.

EDIT: Analyzing the picture you were sent and seemed confused about.

I would do more then not object, I would love and encourage them to pull it back even just a bit. Even if it's a 95% chance it is a game, it's still a 5% chance it's not... the implications of which my fiance and I had a bit of an argument/an "I'm very worried about you" discussion about. Needless to say, the 5% is a very important and fairly disturbing 5%.

Yeah, I think this is one of those situations where a little assurance from the PM(s) could go a long way. Although, I wouldn't blame you if you felt it had gotten a little too immersive and walked away from this game altogether, even if those assurances appeared.
This kinda reminds me of a similar sort of situation in an ARG a year or so back. Can't remember the name of the game though for the life of me, but IG and OOG were blurred in much the same vein.

EDIT - Now I remember, it was I'm Sorry. Some folks loved that blurring, others found it far too uncomfortable.

I'm too interested in the plot to simply walk away, I'll just step back for a month or so, just give myself a break. I've been stalked before, so yes I do find this uncomfortable. I'll still be following the story, but I'll just lurk for a while. I love the story, just think maybe this wasn't the best choice for a first ARG. Confused

No clues, looks like they've stopped posting. Maybe to figure out how to resolve all of this, or perhaps the PM actually is some crazed and desperate person after all.

DNC sent me a tweet yesterday. I said "Death might not be the end? What comes after?"

He replied "knowledge" with a picture of The Hermit tarot card.

I'm waiting to see if anything happens today. If nothing does then the 100/100 wasn't a reference to 11/11/11 Question

To recap DNC's tarot cards so far each has been one of the major arcana (aka Trumps, Atu) of which there are customarily 22, each numbered and counting from 0-21.

The cards have been, in order:

XII The Hanged Man
I The Magician
IX The Hermit

Is 12, 1, 9 anything?

Also, maybe DNC's "0" or null signature is a reference to The Fool?

He also used the Justice card. It's the only one where he didn't draw tear mark on the face. I think he's symbolising himself (or maybe MDT) in the Justice card and the victims with the others.

I give up on taking a break. This ARG is too addicting. ><

Kay, if nothing happens today, perhaps 100/100 wasn't referring to date, but completion. He said his masterpiece would be finally complete on 100/100. Like a ratio, 50/100 now it's done so it's 100/100.

Perhaps that means he's killed those he most needed to kill. Doesn't exactly fit the profile of killing to protect the balance of the world, but he never said it was a continuous thing like Light, he'd have to keep killing over and over. It could just be those who most want to be killed or something. Like Dahmer and how once he had collected 10 skulls and 2 skeletons, his mission would be complete.
