I just figured that they were still location scouting into the making of Marble Hornets. Like they still needed locations for upcoming things that they have yet to film. But I don't know...

This was my opinon of #13, they had started production but were still doing some location scouting for additional scenes. Jay is seen in several entries being part of the production after it had started, and its perfectly normal for a production to continue scouting after filming has begun.

I would place #12 before #13.

I've done it myself plenty of times. I'm glad someone shared the same opinion as me Very Happy

In Admission(?) when TO walks towards the camera, presumably TiMasky, I always assumed that was Tim distracting the Operator from Jay - NOT the Operator stalking Tim.

And yes, there is a difference between those two things:

I have a dog. One day my dog is chasing a car, so I throw a tennis ball in my dog's general direction to distract her. My dog takes the bait and chases the ball.

Read that analogy again with TO as my dog, Jay as the car, and Tim as the ball. The Operator's primary goal was not to stalk Tim, he was just distracted from Jay.

btw: That analogy sounds hilarious if you really do replace the words.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I have an Operator. One day my Operator is chasing a Jay, so I throw a Tim in my Operator's general direction to distract her. My Operator takes the bait and chases the Tim.

Ten gajillion-times trouted, but I have no idea who here has been sticking around since last year(s) and has noticed this, and who's the newbie anymore, so I may as well bring it up again.

Towards the end of Admission, the Operator turns towards the door on which we see the mask hanging in #23. This motion seems to be missed by most folks. I'm not sure what it means other than that it doesn't seem in keeping with the Operator coming directly at Tim just to stalk him. It could be that Jay was the bait to lure the Operator into the house; putting a camera on the Operator forced him to move on to the basement the slow and tedious way.

Just a guess, not sure what the deal was with Admission other than, "look at this crazy shit! You were like a foot away from this frightening motherfucker and couldn't do shit! Pretty whack, ain't it?! BET YOU'RE SCARED NOW!!"

I'm still not understanding why Alex running toward the Operator at the old pool house would make any sense at that point in time of the season. None at all. Alex apparently ran back to what he felt was safety.

in entry 4 we see him chase down the operator, why is it unbelievable that he would do it in entry 13 as well

You would think I'd be mad, but your words lost all merit the moment you went derpfucked. I accept an opinion from you as much as I would KralieAlex.

do you do anything day-to-day besides make laughable "spin offs" and ridicule people for no reason on message boards?
Who exactly do I ridicule, besides you? The "spin offs" as you refer to them, is me dicking around here as much as anyone does. You seem to think of me as the worst person on the forum, yet I didn't cause the quote pyramid in the off-topic thread or that shitty bath meme.
What do you do, day-to-day on this forum besides theories with jack shit backing them, or going "this entree wuz boring" or "i waz so dissaponted". If you don't like it, fuck off. Nevermind, just go ahead and do that anyway.

i don't think you're the worst poster, but all i ever see you doing is ripping on people for no reason whatsoever. who cares about a quote pyramid? it's a discussion. not only that, but you came into a thread where the subject was complaints about the series, and when people started complaining, you got offended and went off on them (and seem to think i have bitched about entries outside of that thread). you're the one who starts in with people (see: this topic), and that's the reason i dislike you, and the reason my opinions of you don't sway when your lackeys come to tell me how precious you are to these boards. it's a message board, but have some civility. a lower post count doesn't necessarily mean that someone knows less about the series than you, after all.

now back on topic: i didn't realize that in return he goes towards that door. the more you know!

The tone of the series seems to suggest that when Alex is in full hunt-the-Operator mode, he does so with clear intentions. In #13, Alex seems as though he's simply stumbled on the symbol and then on the Operator, himself. It could be that he is chasing the Operator after all, but it doesn't seem from the way that he's moving, to me, that he realizes that the Operator will be around the corner.

I mean... it's not as polished as a Hollywood movie or anything, so I think that the message is getting garbled a little with the way they framed their intentions. It seems more likely that they were trying to show that Alex stumbled into the Operator by accident, here, than that he was hunting him down. The guys already made several videos showing Alex hunting the Operator... I think that this one was meant to be earlier, chronologically speaking.

Well, yes and no. It's still fun to talk about... isn't that why you brought this thread up to begin with? On the other hand, sometimes they drop clear-as-day answers on us (re: "Tim is motherfucking Masky, alright you fucking guys?!" Otherwise known as #35.) so you never know!

entry 17

the dialogue they're performing talks about a guy not being able to leave town because he can't get sarah out of his head

after the lines end, tim weirdly asks alex who wrote the lines, as if to implicate the lines actually had significance

hmm

I've always thought of that as the outcome of a mental process that went something like, "holy cow, these lines are extremely shitty. Who in their right minds would actually want something like this on camera? And am I going to take the blame for them as the actor? But... it's a job and I should probably not piss the director off [again]..."

in some of the earlier TTA videos you can see an "s" in the corner of them

since they don't refer to him as slenderman, could this symbolize seth's signature on the videos?

also, i just found out that there's a third executive producer/writer in the series

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3189936/

For Rando to become a troll now would destroy 2/3 of this forum, seeing as most of the good advice we have generally comes from him or from a conversation he has been involved in.

I'd say that what he meant to say is that it would be stupid for the backwards "s" to mean anything other than sigma. But please correct me if I'm wrong

I'm sorry but the S simply standing for Seth is stupid, TTA is going well out of his way to stay anonymous. Signing his video with his actual name wouldn't make any sense to me...

Most people believe it is a Sigma but I don't think anyone has found an explanation for it.
