I don't want to sound like pravado, or have Dray beat me up, but I was fairly unimpressed with this one. I wasn't disappointed per-se, just...unimpressed. When I saw the tunnel I was like but then I was like and then I was . If they took out half the shots of Jay's Feet and Forest Dirt Trails: The Movie, they really could've combined this with another entry. I would've been willing to wait. I haven't felt this down in Season Two since 34, but at least that means 49 should have something fuckawesome, right?

That said, it's painfully obvious the next entry is going to deal with the tunnel, or Alex's magical bag of fun, which as mentioned earlier probably has a camera in it. Or Brian's severed head, hell I don't know.

I'm really tired of seeing posts saying things among the lines of "Well, that sure was filler" or "Omg so boring". Looking at it from my perspective, that wasn't "filler" at all. Not only did this entry have some suspense with J following Alex into the woods, but it also gained some story progression. We're finally going to figure out what the tunnel has to do with this entire situation, and I personally can't wait.

Honestly, people should have known that there probably wasn't going to be any appearances from The Operator or any of the mask gang, because J's post on Twitter was pretty calm. It wasn't anything in the category of "I can't believe what I found". All in all, I thought that this entry was a pretty solid one. Now I just can't wait for Entry #49, hopefully J finds something on Alex's camera.

At around 4:36, there's what appears to be a person there, possibly the Operator. If that is the Operator, then Jay was awfully calm, unless:

a) He did not see it

b) The Operator didn't let him see it (remember the Entry where the Operator was right outside the window whilst Alex and the gang where filming a clip for MH?)

There WAS some sort of abnormal noise right before Jay checked behind him, AND if you listen carefully, the sound of someone or something moving around (i.e. twings/leaves being stepped on)

Of couse the bigger issue is: What was Alex doing in the park? Considering he went back so many times, I imagine there's something very important in there. There's two possibilities:

1) He HAS to go back periodically.

2) He felt there was something of great importance in there, but the Operator kept appearing, forcing him out.

In the latter case, he may have also known Jay was following him (hence his lack of anything unusual. He was being careful of what he did whilst Jay was there), and was hoping Jay would enter, to distract the Operator long enough to do...Whatever it was he needed to do. It would also explain how Jay lost Alex so quickly; Alex purposfully hid so that Alex would move past him (if Alex didn't know he was being followed, it'd be near impossible to loose track of him, considering he would just be walking casually).

Did anyone else notice that it looks kind of like Alex is marching into Rosswood park? It looks like it to me at least, it's at 0:49 into it.

Hey guys, been lurking the MH Season 2 threads for a long while now so I figured I may as well join in here.

Went through all the posts so far and it seems that no one has noticed something that stands out as something quite important in this entry.

If you go back to Entry 47 when Alex starts pushing Jay and getting angry you can very clearly hear some distortion happening.

In THIS entry when Jay pans over what people believe to be The Operator you can hear the exact same type of distortion. The pitch and tone is exactly the same you can compare them for yourselves.

Also now that all things related to Jessica are relevant, remember how Jessica's presence screwed up Jay's tapes in the hotel?

From what I'm guessing, prolonged Operator exposure causes regular people to make cameras react like they do around TO.

Question is: exactly how much exposure does it take to make this happen?

yay! more feet action! Ok, I understand the walking is suppose to build suspense, especially the snapped twig coming from behind Jay, but there must have been a way for them to shorten the amount of time watching Jay's feet.
