@AgentLampshade/redherring: The "views" counter on YouTube only increments when a video has played until completion. Anyone can "Like" a video without even pressing play. What this likely means is that at the time you went to the video page, 100 people who were watching it had pressed the Like button before finishing (or possibly even starting) the video itself.

The view count is -very- common when a video is just released. It often stops at 303 and then is adjusted at a later point (accumulating views or something, I guess. Or some kind of bug.)
It actually stops for a time a lot.

I'm wondering if that really is slenderman or not. It doesn't look like him, although he seems to have mile long legs a model would kill for hah. But in other aspects of appearance, he seems kinda.. short? Although it's hard to tell, I suppose.

Good eye to everyone that saw TO. I definitely agree that that's the man, but I'll have to rewatch the video to see him in action.
HOW did Jay not search Alex's car?!? For real! I guess there's a chance he locked it, but still...
Bruce. I gut feeling is that he's unimportant, for some reason... If it was someone he knew, would he not be hiding from Jay, or APPROACHING Jay? Or is it just a "Hiding in plain sight" situation - Something J is QUITE good at, I might add...

Okay guys I'm a tad confused (I've been dwindling in interest recently and this peaked it). If Jay has been following Alex around for the past couple of months but he only found out Alex was lying to Jessica about finding Amy? This means Entry 47 was a few months behind (in him calling jessica and such) and Entry 48's footage was shot months ago? Or am I missing something?

Thanks Zarggg and redherring. I was wondering about that. Now, on to the video:

Alex is wearing a blue T-shirt in this entry, the figure in noentry might have too. Best screenshot I could get is:



Plus, Alex was fiddling with what we assume to be the handheld camera, so this all favours that this entry is in fact, just before noentry.

Also, in noentry, the figure was running, which explains how Jay lost Alex.

I'm pretty sure whiteshirt is just a guy smoking a cigarette.

At around 0:49 Alex gives a little look around and seems to pause near where Jay was peepin on him. Maybe he knew Jay was creepin and was looking for the "help" that he wants becasue he swore himself to The Operator to get Amy back and is now powerless against Oppy, so he wants Jay to see what happens to save him.

I kind of like this episode, I thought it did well at building up tension and had spooky implications. I wouldn't call it a filler episode so much as one kept fairly low-key for the purposes of pacing.

Stuff which disturbed me about the entry:

- Alex seems to voluntarily go back to Rosswood, despite what happened to him there.

- Not only that, but Alex went deeper in under his own power this time around - last time we saw him get nabbed by the Operator almost immediately inside the tree line, this time he seemed to be chugging along of his own will right up to the tunnel entrance. It's like the Operator is drawing Alex deeper and deeper inside.

- Jay's inept at sneaking but, like many people who are incompetent at a particular skill, is convinced he's good at it. I think there's a lot to be said for the theory that Alex knows damn well Jay is following and is doing this on purpose.

- More disturbingly: Jay is now behaving in a disturbingly similar way to some of the creepier characters in the series. The Operator is a master stalker. TTA has been stalking Jay and/or Alex for years - since the MH shoot at the very least. Tim's been stalking Jay ever since season 1. Perhaps part of the whole Operator thing is that it makes people distrust each other and spy on each other, just as the Operator seems to spy on its victims.

- I was muttering drivedrivedrivegetaway to myself as Jay got into his car at the end because the white shirt guy creeped me out.

Okay, so not an action packed or jumpy bit, but not bad all in all. Kinda fillery but at least we have timeline progress.

Definitely the Operator at 4:36(ish). There's a microscopic amount of Operator-audio distortion as Jay pans over the black shape. It's not loud, but it is the distinctive noise we've heard from it before. Likely not loud because of the distance between Jay and it. I did not see any visual tears during the surrounding footage (before or after), which suggests that the Ops was there for a while (no teleporting).

Looking at the Alex encounter, I'd say that he's not leaving something at the tunnel, he's picking something up and putting it into his satchel/camera bag. Actually it just looks like he moves the satchel from his back, opens it, does nothing, and then closes it (Alex doesn't seem to move his left arm at all, which would likely be the case if he was putting something in, taking something out). Maybe he detected INCREDIBLY LOUD NINJA and decided not to do whatever he was going to do.

Wild Guessing Time: Alex is communicating with Amy in whatever Slendyverse she is in, he goes to pick up tapes or other artifacts give him a hope that she's okay.

As for DerpDerpEntry29: Yeah, it was a bit obvious, but I have a feeling this was more of a jab at UF. Troy wants us to know it's the same damned tunnel so we don't spend 20 pages arguing about how it's another tunnel or a tunnel that connects to another tunnel that was in entry 29, or it takes people to the Candleverse or whatever in the hell someone is going to theorytroll us with. Defusing the "Unfiction Red Tie Moment™" before it happens.

Whiteshirt? Likely bystander, and yeah, totally smoking (not pills). S/he has classic smoker's posture. Hir kids are probably over in the playground.

Read the first 8 pages before I got pissed off that no one asked this question:

How the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge did Jay overlook tall, dark and slender?

Okay, so I watched the video AND read through ten pages of text, and I'm fairly certain nobody has mentioned this.

In the last video, Jay says he's basically been sitting on his ass for three months.

In this video, he says he started stalking Alex for several months.

Wouldn't this put us pretty tantalizingly close to the end of the seven month blackout?
