The concrete in the image from outside the tunnel tapers off precisely as the image from inside the tunnel. If you look at the taper from the inside, they appear to be smooth, not ribbed like the metal wall of the tunnel. There is some indication of rocks in the image from inside the tunnel, however, we can see that the rocks would be obscured by the vegetation from the shot of outside the tunnel.

I see no reason to think that these are different tunnels or different sides of the same tunnel. Though, i wont rule put the possibility of it being the other end, I just dont think this is the case.

As for the foliage, this may be a case of the shots being taken at different times of the year. The foliage in 29 appears much more brown, like an early fall color, while in 48 it seems to be midsummer. this could be an OOG thing.

With all that said, I still believe that there is only one Operator. This is only a possible theory that I thought sounded intriguing. Still, who knows? In a series about a giant slender faceless creature who lives in the woods and stalks a group of twenty-somethings I guess anything can happen. Very Happy


This is a really intriguing theory! Especially when you consider Brian's total lack of existence in season 1. What if he was the former Operator (at least for a time), and during the course of Jay's investigation, someone found a way to free him, making Amy a viable target?

We should consider the merits of what I now dub "Ghostly Possession Theory."

Also- STOP USING "TO" TO MEAN THE OPERATOR. IT'S OBNOXIOUS.
Just type the 2 freaking words. How hard is that?

29 was shot when it came out, so yes the leaves were probably very dead. They're filming this stuff now, so things are very much alive. Or in the case of whomevers blood that is....still dead.

 		I think it is the same pipe. At this point, it just doesn't make much sense to me to add a second pipe.

well there shouldn't be. jay flat out tells us that it's the same pipe. even if jay is "assuming" it's the same, troy wouldn't have put that in unless it was the same pipe

There is speculation as to the location. Whether it be the same tunnel but a different side or a different tunnel all together.

I'm pretty sure it's the same side of the same tunnel in both entries, and I see no reason to introduce a new tunnel.

 		Jay woke up near Rosswood, We know that The Operator is connected to Rosswood via 38(OR we Assume), Jay has found The Operator IN Rosswood, Jessica USED to go there as a little girl. Alx has met The Operator in Rosswood. Now we have a debate on is there 2 tunnels that look very much alike or is it the same one? Perhaps Jay went around to the other side in noentry and the Operator was collecting what alex has been leaving him?

 		Maybe if we can see what colour the camera man is wearing that might shed some light, Cause Alex seems to like colours, and Jay likes brown. It might point us in the right direction or disprove certain people? Or if we could match it to what someone has already worn? Dunno

Bush at the left of a tunnel, from J's perspective (#48) is grown up more than one from "noentry" perspective - that one looks if it was filmed in a autumn or spring. (It's more likely autumn)
As for a place - if you check the tree in a right from "noentry", it's similar to one J was hiding behind.
