@cochinosanchez: Both, I guess? I'm assuming that you only did some noise and loudness reduction, but if you stripped out more than just that, it might be good to look at it.

I really doubt there's any kind of secret message hidden in here. It seems extremely straightforward. J isn't helping, he's making everything worse, he knows nothing, and (probably) the next entry is "the best part" or (possibly) J's stupidity is "the best part". Razz

There's something garbled that doesn't sound like the rest of the audio on the right channel at around 0:18 to 0:19. And something underneath all of the "nothing" loops.

Wouldn't mind seeing R vs L speks on these, maybe something that we'll miss if the audio is all together?

Sorry if I don't read through the whole thread but here's what I think

when "make everything worse" is repeated it corresponds with this is the best part. I think totheark was happy about Jay messing with Alex and getting him back involved.

Did anyone else hear the phrase "everything or nothing" when the two audio samples were combined on the original video? To me, it sounded like TTA cut it that way so that you'd hear both messages. This would also point heavily at a human casualty in the next upload.

Thoughts:

BE SILENT: The flippant part of me thinks TTA is pissed off at Jay's subtitles on the videos and his tweets and he wants him to just shut up and post videos. I think, however, it's more likely a suggestion that there'll either be a significant audio clue in Alex's footage of this tunnel, or that there was an important audio clue hidden somewhere in Entry 48 which we haven't picked up on yet.

TiMasky appearance: Might be to indicate that what we're about to see happen in the tunnel is of great interest to Tim. If Tim is TTA, or a member of the group of people who post to the TTA account if TTA is a collective, then that just underscores "THIS IS THE BEST PART" - if not, it means that the matter is of interest both to TTA and to Tim, so since multiple parties (both of whom seem to have a better handle than Jay on what's going on) are interested you know it's important.

"You've done nothing but make things worse": The tunnel footage might reveal that Jay fucked up badly, perhaps to an extent that Alex is either dead or doomed to a point where he's beyond salvation. ("You are broken, you cannot be fixed...")

Superimposing Alex's face over faceless figure: Implies some sort of union between Alex and the Operator? This makes me think again of the outlines of facial features that the Operator has been sporting this season that were notably absent last season. Don't want to rake up the argument about that again but I'm convinced it's deliberate - the guys are competent filmmakers and the fact that Operator appearances cause massive video distortion is all the excuse they need to obscure those features, but they've specifically chosen not to. Perhaps the Operator wanted to steal Alex's identity so that he could act more openly in the human world? Or perhaps the Operator just noms souls/minds/identities or something.

THIS IS THE BEST PART: I definitely think this is referring to Alex's tapes of the tunnel visit rather than something happening in the present. As has been pointed out, the way it's phrased sounds exactly like someone telling you to pay attention to a part in a movie because they've seen it before and they really like this bit. Given that TTA's messages this season often seem to be saying "I'm LOLing at your expense", this might be another point suggesting that Jay's about to fuck things up horribly, because I imagine sequences with Jay screwing up and wrecking things for the very person he wanted to track down and help would qualify for The Ark's Funniest Home Videos.
