I think that it's really weird how the only two ToTheArk videos that have Alex's voice in them (that we're aware of) are anagrams of each other.

Potentially silly theory time coming up regarding this TTA response!

What if Jay is one of the masked folk after all? We have seen that there are more than one around Alex, but haven't seen any this season taking action against Jay save to drive him into looking over his footage again. There have been a few more strange incidents this season to add to the pile from the first where Jay has been vulnerable to TTA and Masky's suggestion.

While I am not certain that the hooded figure in this entry is necessarily Jay, it could be suggesting that. Broadcasting a picture of Alex onto the hooded figure who looks back could be a sort of complex metaphor: Jay (as the hooded fella) has been staring at snow: blank memories. Alex's statement in hindsight (represented by the looking back) is a distraction from the memory loss, but moreover is a reminder and a terrible hint of what is to have come from their doomed reunion. The statement is the lever/key/whatever on which the terrible thing that Jay just saw hinged.

TTA is threatening Jay more than anything with the 'I'll find you' message. It runs the lines of 'if you don't post another entry, I'll torch your place and drive you to do what I want,' sort of first season behaviour.

I don't know if Jay will have learned from the first season, but I think that if he has he'll upload the stuff he saw sooner than later. Given his propensity to sit on things he doesn't want to show, as well as to not learn from past experiences, however, I think that he's going to hold onto this until TTA physically forces him to confront what he's seen by uploading it.

Beyond that, I can't directly vouch for Jay == a masked guy. The fact that the masky mask seems to now be a trademark for Tim (I'm guessing, given that hoodie's so different!) that kind of blows my suspicion that Jay is another Masky given the pictures uploaded at the beginning of the season. I still think that he could have been working with the masked folks without his conscious consent.

Does TTA kill, or does he help?

I think he perhaps does both. I think we'll soon find out.

As an aside, I am hoping that Jay will use this knowledge to his benefit in the present. Annoying TTA into showing up personally, Jay could then hope to either get some direct answers, or to get some revenge if what he saw was warranted.

I think that would be a fantastic twist on the usual power dynamics where Jay is the victim that TTA pays calls to. *fingers crossed!*

If Jay is part of TTA, why does he sent video's to himself? It just doesn't make any sense...

However, Jay could be working together with the maskies ("I have still done so much then you have Alex...) without knowing that they are TTA.

Or the maskies aren't TTA, but we have seen both in TTA video's posing so I think it's pretty safe to say that at least Masky is TTA (probably Hoody as well)
