For me, some the scariest moments are the entries where you KNOW something is about to happen, whether is it distortion, masky attack or whatever, but nothing happens. These guys are great at suspense.
But legit-scare-wise, from the 1st season:
- Slendy´s surprise visit in Entry #26 freaked me out.
- Entry #7 begun as: "Ok, some of Alex´s film, what happened there, looked like the screeOHSHITITS RIGHT THERE!"
- Entry #10 hit me close because my last house was near a forest, and sometimes I would be walking by while it was dark, and when I returned home I felt something was behind me....
- Entry #11: The one where Alex walks by Slendy WITHOUT NOTICING HIM.
- Entry #14: Also because of personal experiences.
- Entry #18 was a real shocker. "Alex?"
- Entries #22 and #23. Should explain themselves.
The loud distorion noises in some entries were more of shock scares, but they dammned worked.

Season 2:
- enttry #37: Because it is.
- The ending of #43.
- And "that" moment from #46
- Not exactly scary, as much as shocking. Entry #49.

Those are the ones that scared me the most.

The second house visit, when Jay gets jumped scared the living shit out of me, more than any other entry.

I have a hard time bringing myself to watch #14 and the basement explorations. #26 is also right up there.

A lot of people probably already said this, but the one scene that freaked me out for weeks on end was Entry 14 I think...when Slenderman slowly creeps into Alex's bedroom. Oh my goodness.

Out of Totheark videos the scariest thing I can remember is when the white circles pop out of the darkness with a buzz in Memories. Strange how something so stupidly simple had me in absolute terror for a moment.

Fragments. For some reason, that video scared the shit out of me.

Oh lord. The one that always sticks out in my mind is Entry #14. I remember the first time I saw that, I was curled up in front of my friend's laptop half hiding my face going DNW DNW DNW DNW!!!!

But apart from that, Alex's visit with TO in Entry #43 creeps me out really bad too. Usually I can get over the initial scare after two or three viewings of the video, that one still gives me chills. Also there's something about yelling in the tunnel in 49 and 50 that makes my heart sink too.

And then Admission, with the shadowy figure moving slowly past the light from the window...augh. Augh.

Alex wins! FATALITY! Laughing

The first big scare for me and when I fell in love with the series was when jay returns to the house and encounters Masky for the first time. As soon as I saw him sitting on that couch I was literally yelled "Oh Sh*t!" and I was right cause next thing Masky's right top on of him. Brilliantly done.

Second one was when Masky attacks Jay in the hotel room. I saw him sneak by but shat myself when he came back cause I thought he was legging it.

Lastly when The Operator appeared in the hallway at Alex's house. Did not see that coming despite the intereferance and I missed TO in the window until I saw it mentioned here.

In chronological order, kinda:

When theyre in the car doing lines for the movie, and when that fellow moves his head, Slendy is in the background.

When Slendy nonchalantly walks into Alex's room, and then when he turns the lights on LOL NO SLENDY, and then blood

Masky coming out of nowhere while Jay is sleeping.

Jay opening up that door on the one camera, and seeing it not open on the other. HUUUUUUUUGE mindfuck.

Slendy tilting his head when he's, like, face to face with the camera.

Slendy popping up in Entry 26.

Alex snooping around the woods, seeing slendy, falling, then getting up and walking toward him. THEN BLANK.

The attack of Masky in the hotel was both funny and scary now.

Oh my god I remember the first time I watched that, you see his fingers curl around the edge of the door and it's like OHCRAPOHCRAPOHCRAP. But it's never not a LITTLE BIT funny to see Tim hobbling down the hallway after Jay XD

But I did literally scream when I watched 35 for the first time with my friend. It was pretty hilarious.

I wanted to see random people freak in the hotel watching Jay run there.

mask guy's sudden appearance (~1:46) in Entry 23 nearly made me soil myself the first time I saw it.

When he looks at the camera did it for me; I was expecting him to Ghost Dad through the screen and choke me out.

Also, all of TTA's reply videos really put me on-edge. I think it's the music, it's the same feeling that the Reverse Song of Healing gave me in the Ben ARG videos.
