What is Alex had counted on that being Jay, and didn't realize it wasn't him until after it was too late? Think about it, it would explain why he had to call Jay and try to get him to come out for "important information about Amy," because things didn't go as planned. Plus. Jay is pretty obvious when he pretends to be superstalker, so it's possible Alex could have pretended to not notice.

 		What sucks a bit is that we KNOW Jay survives, so that tension is going to be missing a bit, but it'll still be there for sure. We only have four main mysteries left, two of which started in Season 2:

1. The Key
2. What happened to Jay?
3. Who and why is totheark?
4. Where is Amy?

It'd be really difficult for a story to continue if Jay didn't survive. No one would edit, no one would upload to youtube... We'd just be left with unanswered questions forever.

I don't think it's speech. I think it's more like simlish from a video game when they want to evoke the sound of speech without any real words.


Point being that there is SOMETHING distinct from the weird "rattling" sound that I assume is a distorted version of wind going through the tunnel.


Right, I do think it's The Operator. I just don't think we're supposed to understand what he is saying.

I'd say we'll get at most the first 2 of those questions answered. We aren't going to find Amy or fully(if ever) understand TTA until the very end, I expect.

 		Also, I think it proves that Alex is doing this against his control. You can hear him whisper "Don't follow me", referring to Jay. Jay is still his best friend, and he doesn't want to kill him, but Alex is now under control of the Operator (who is of course operating him).

That's why he's called the Operator. Because he can make you do things you don't want to do.

That is why Alex is fighting against this feeling to murder his best friend, but couldn't stop himself. Lucky for Jay, Bruce took the hit.

 		I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that Season Two won't end in a double digit. If anyone else can confirm this, that'd be wonderful.
