carefully-chosen word is in bold.

Jay and Alex were never taken away for good.

Oh I'm sorry, read over that. We don't know that Bruce is away for good though. Maybe the operator flung him into a random house.

Ok, my thoguhts on Alex's behaviour. We already know he's fed up with Jay following him, for whatever reasons - Maybe he wants to keep Jay out of danger, or it just makes him feel paranoid when he's being followed (who can blame him, after the whole Operator business).

Therefore, when "Jay" appeared, he got angry and attacked. However, he noticed it wasn't Jay, but the dude fought back. Alex lost control and killed him (or possibly meant to kill him). After, he smashed the dude's head four times with a rock. Why? The Tutorial teaches that the Operator isn't the brightest of creatures, and even a simple mask can throw it off. Therefore, Alex, knowing that the Operator was nearby, smashed the guy's face with a rock, so that the Operator, who didn't know someone else was there, would think it was Alex and take it away.

As for the guy who picked up the camera, no idea, not really much to go on yet. Could simple be a passerby.

I still stand by the "Alex and Operator are enemies" theory. Otherwise, why would Alex be constantly running from the Operator? And trying to warn/keep people away? And just generally being afraid of it?

I'm really worried, folks. It's been almost four hours since I've seen Entry #49 and my doctor warned me about this....

It's another Where's Waldo moment. Looks like The Operator, but can't confirm that it's actually him. Either way, there's a creepy humanoidoid silhouette.

I think this is from the #43 encounter rather than #49. (Compare to my av)

I'm loving the "Alex is doing everything against his will" theory.

Is the tunnel the ark?

I don't think it is the ark/ But it definitely is an important location. Who was Alex waiting for in there?

21 FUCKING PAGES?!

I need to read through all this?!

Damn it. I should be getting ready for my first class of the semester right now. Well I know what I'll be doing in between/during class today.

My first reaction to all this is that Alex pretty much has to be out of the picture now.

Jay's been posting this stuff online for a while (and there's been no secret about it). Alex, if he's around or capable of thought/action must have known this entry was coming. He would surely have stopped Jay from posting something this incriminating if he was still able.

I live in a house with lots of dark hallways... he never twitches his head at me T~T lol

I think beyond any TTA video exposing anything the part we were supposed to witness was the moment where undeniably Alex has gone bat shit insane. The 897(4?) on the keys might be something or a big red herring.

Had to see this again. Holy and unholy flaming hell...
YouŽre now a murderer, Alex. (A cookie if you get that.)
Well, since this has been the most shocking entry, I guess IŽll read the rest of the topic, but I am seriously thinking Alex hasnŽt been in control of himself for quite a while now.
Also, the last scene hints that he both wants to kill J( and obviously fails) and that this happens just before Entry #38.
My guess is that the next entry will be Alex vs J. And the results wonŽt be so pretty.

 What about a scapegoat?

After reading all 21 pages, Ive notice nobody brings this theory.

What about whitey being a scapegoat? Alex sure knows Jay is follow him -Jay's ninja skills seems unleveled...- but maybe he kills the first person he saw to avoid the operator target again Jay...

Have to agree with TheCrimsonKnight, I believe that the phone call with Jay at the end was to lure him into Rosswood park so he could do what he did to white shirt guy to Jay.

Oh snap.

Although of course we know he clearly doesn't kill Jay, heh.

I have a, somewhat stupid theory (hehe), that, Alex lured Jay into the tunnel and tried to attack him, but Jay showed heavy resistance (Jay = Chuck Norris?) and Alex was only able to injure Jay, in the head area, and It could've lead to Jay's memory loss? Although I too link the Operator with memory loss. Oh well just a theory.

THAT ROCK.

It's a sign.

Good entry. Good entry indeed.

Edit: In my view, whitey is just a guy chillin' in Rosswood park for a nice walk. Alex's "Don't follow me" mutters where to keep the Operator at bay, imo xD. But this poor guy was just minding his own business and seeing if Alex was ok, poor fella.

I think we are coming to some sort of Climax. I have to assume that this final walk to Rosswood park is indeed Alex wanting rid of Jay.

Maybe the muttering was Alex HOPING Jay wouldn't follow him because he knew the control of the Operator would make him kill him. Perhaps that yell was of distress when he first thought it was Jay but then had to kill the guy anyway because you know... slenderman.

Allow me to make a joke:

Slenderman Corpse Remove Service: You kill'em, we dragg'em off to a dimension of Eldrich horrors and slowly dissect them.

And any one else think it would have been more creepy if as the screen flickered Mr. Thin had slowly leaned over the body?

Sorry I'm not my usually plotty self, my grandfather died this week.

I have to say that the "creepy factor" to Marble Hornets has been lacking this season. It's much more about Plot and intrigue it'd seem. They now seem to willing to give you the scares on a plate.
