 		Can somebody point me to the audio of slenderman talking? Supposedly its in this video but I can't hear it anywhere.

 		People thought/think the third thing said while Alex is walking was the operator talking.

when Alex says "Dont follow me" etc.

I dont think it was the operator. and i dont think alex was talking to the operator. (but thats just my .02$)

Yeah, I think it was Alex making a realization that J was following him. Alex was being controlled by the Operator physically (maybe), but he still remains in his mental state, and knows what would happen if J followed him all the way to the tunnel. J would have been in Bruce's shoes if he approached him.

 		I only got to about page 13 so I'm sorry if I'm repeating, but my class is about to end haha.

Alex's "Don't follow me" and whispering and all that reminds me of a paranoid schizophrenic or something along the lines of that. I know someone researched the pills that Jay found in his bag in the hotel room, and there was one that was to treat schizophrenia... if this series ends with Alex being a schizophrenic or something, I will not be happy D:< It'd be like a Shutter island ending or something.

 		A question just occured to me: If Alex turned around and saw that Jay was following him, why wouldn't he chase him down and kill him? Unless Alex didn't know it was him...

No, he doesn't. The Operator isn't in TriveTwelve at all. It's a completely different character.

Interesting point. Perhaps because he was still 'out of range', so to say, and Alex was afraid Jay would get away and do everything to avoid Alex in the future, knowing that he went into full-psychopath mode.

 		I'm surprised I haven't seen this theory yet, and I've read through most of this topic.

My first reaction to Alex saying "Don't follow me, I know you're there, etc" was "Omg! Alex is really a good guy, and he doesn't want Jay to follow him to Slenderworld and get caught by Sir Faceless/Get into trouble!" - then, when Bruce showed up he had to kill him because Slendy was watching, even though he didn't want to.

As in, Alex is still a good guy, but he's putting on this charade for Slendy (possibly to find Amy) and he doesn't want Jay to get into any dangerous situations. (Hence, giving him the cold shoulder, "don't follow me," etc)

Just my two cents. But it seemed like Alex was looking out for Jay to me, and only killed Bruce because he KNEW that Slendy was watching him.

Just a few seconds after 3:00, there starts this weird "rattling" sound that persists for a while. That's not the talking. DURING that, listen closely for a sort of murmuring sound that's there for the first few seconds of it. I think the rattling is a distorted sound of the air/wind going through the tunnel.

Well, if Alex and TO are "the twins", that raises an even more interesting question--who is TTA referring to when he says "do you know what HE did"? It can't be Alex or TO if they are "the twins".

 		I think that Sidenote was TTA saying to Jay "Hey, pay attention, this is the best part" in that the 'best part' was Alex killing Bruce. I'm sure others have said this, and I'm starting to agree.

As for 'do you know what he did', I also believe this to be about Alex - what with the murder and everything. Perhaps TTA is just trying to rattle Jay.

As for why TTA thinks it's the best part, I couldn't say. Maybe it's proof to Jay that Alex shouldn't be trusted, or maybe it's the 'best part' because Bruce gave The Operator the sustenance it needed. Who knows.

Oh, wait...Troseph does.

The Operator is more of an "it" though, so TTA would likely be referring to Alex.


I'm getting a feeling that the Operator has driven Alex insane, and he went to the tunnel to try and "take care" of TO. Whatever's in his satchel may be something that can be used to fend it off, possibly for good. However, what needed to be done could only be done alone. When Alex spotted Jay, he knew his opportunity was blown and this built up his rage. Alex expected Jay to approach him. 15 minutes later, the bearded guy approached him and Alex let loose and murdered him. But by this point, Alex had become far too emotional, which made him vulnerable to Slendy-influence and he was no longer able to accomplish his task.

 		Rewatching the entry - has anyone touched on the fact that the body is in different position before and after the distortion at about 3:24?

Probably not all that significant - I know it's very hard to lay completely still between takes - but I'm just curious if anyone else noticed or I'm just batty as usual. Mind you, it's before Bruce has his face rocked, so he could merely have shifted in his unconscious state.
