"This seems to be a continuation of Entry #38, which must be the meeting in Rosswood Park Alex called me to."

*Cut to footage. Alex is now very close to Jay after he had finished changing his tapes. He grabs Jay by the back of the shirt. The camera is left lying on the ground. Alex tosses Jay around and throws him against a tree.*

Jay: "Alex, what are you doing?!"

*Alex doesn't answer and continues trying to attack Jay. Jay eventually manages to escape, slightly injured. He begins to run for the tunnel with Alex in close pursuit.*

Jay: "Well then, Alex, I'll find out all of your secrets! Then I'll steal your car keys, smash your rock, and eat your secret tape! HAHAHA."

*Alex continues to chase Jay. They reach the tunnel and Jay runs straight inside. Alex stops at the entrance.*

Alex: "You shouldn't have done that."

*The Operator appears, holding a strange gun. Jay stops, but holds his ground. He refuses to run away anymore. Shit is about to go down.*

*The Operator uses the shrink ray on Jay. Jay shrinks. The camera falls down and crushes him. After two years of Operations, Jay is finally dead.*

-=-ALTERNATE ENDING-=-

*The camera and Jay shrink down to a tiny size. Jay slowly pans the camera up towards the Operator's face, who is towering above him. The entire audience shits enough bricks to build a nation.*

Alex: "This is the last sacrifice I need before I can finally get Amy back. Goodbye."

*BUT JAY ISN'T FINISHED YET! Jay gives himself a Jaybie-Snack and gets enough energy to somehow run away from the tunnel faster than the apparent giants. After about 30 minutes of boring footage of the ground flying by, Jay arrives at Brian's house once more. Brian is actually home this time. Brian notices the tiny Jay.*

Brian: "Oh hey, Jay, long time no see. I was shopping at the grocery store for four years straight. Want to have some snacks with me?"

Jay: "DEFINITELY!"

*Jay enjoys himself as he muches on a pretzel that's currently about three times bigger than he is. Brian helps himself to a bag of Doritos. In the last ten seconds of footage, Blasky can be seen looking through the window hungrily, but he leaves just before the video ends.*

*Cut to black-screen-white-text*

"I spent the next two months enjoying snacks with Brian. I eventually gained enough fat to return to normal size."

"Eventually, the black-masked guy broke in and unmasked himself and was revealed to be a clone of Tim who just wanted some Combos."

"I left Brian after the Operator arrived at Brian's house and caused all four years worth of snacks to disappear."

"I couldn't stay there without starving, but Brian had enough sustenance inside his system to stay alive for several months, long enough to get a good amount of groceries again."

"Thus, I drove to the hotel seen in Entry #27."

"On the way there, I attacked Alex and stole his chest cam, his secret tape, and the pills from his satchel, but that's another entry for another day. I won't post it for two weeks because I'm Jay."

"Happy sleeping, kiddies!"

I like the alternate ending better, and not just because J dies in the first one and is then resurrected by lying down on a satanic hotel bed or something.
Love the entire snack-subplot, especially an explanation for the unshrinking, and how it ties in to what Brian was doing!

...Until the actual Operator killed her well before J set off on his Summer Adventure...

Man, Alex, you need to start dating again. J is a terrible wingman to keep around.

Maybe The Operator was trying to look like a badass, leaning against that streetlight, and Alex gave him a funny look that started all of this.
Should you find anything, you should upload it to keep as a permanent record.
I can't really think of any other time that wasn't on camera, I think 2 was just the "special case" because it was probably the first.

 		I'm glad people liked my interpretation of Entry #50! As for the Amy thing, I don't know what else Alex's motives would be, so I just plugged that in.

Now here's Entry #51 because I'm bored.

"Entry #51"

"I have something quite unfortunate to tell you all."

"I ate the tape that contained the footage of me robbing Alex of his stuff."

"I'm sorry. It looked so tempting and delicious."

"Oh well, you get the basic idea of what happened."

"Anyways, I've figured out where Entry #29 falls on the timeline. Apparently I was suspicious of Alex and went to check the tunnel prior to Entry #38 and Entry #50."

"The following is footage from the last unlabeled tape."

"It seems to be a continuation of Entry #29 from the handheld camera I was carrying in Entry #29."

*Cut to Jay in the tunnel, approaching the Operator. The chest cam has already malfunctioned, causing the end of Entry #29, but the handheld camera is still rolling well, although with it's fair share of distortion. Jay gets dangerously close to the Operator, but the Operator collapses into pieces. Jay stops, confused.*

*Timasky appears behind Jay.*

Tim: "SURPRISE! DID YOU LIKE MY POPSICLE STRUCTURE OF THE OPERATOR?"

*Jay jumps and turns around, furious.*

Jay: "I did not, Tim! Besides, you can't fool me with that mask anymore."

Tim: "Err, sorry. You can have the popsicles if you want. Also, sorry for distorting your cameras."

Jay (thinking): And my fans on twitter call me stupid!

*Awkward moment of silence between Jay and Tim*

Tim: "So, let's keep walking down the tunnel, all the way to the end. There's something shiny there, I think."

Jay: "Why didn't you just tell me everything earlier? Why did you keep attacking me?"

Tim: "I was bored."

Jay: "Well, I want nothing to do with you! I'M OUTTA HERE!"

*Jay turns around and bolts out of the tunnel.*

Tim: "No, wait! Come back! You have to see what's at the end of the tunnel!"

*Jay doesn't stop. He gets back to his car and drives all the way back to the hotel. As soon as he gets there, he goes to bed in preparation for the following morning.*

*Cut to black-screen-white-text.*

"The following footage takes place on the night before Entry #27. About a week has passed since my final snack foray with Brian. Jessica and I have allied."

*Cut to the hotel bedroom. It is night and Jay is sleeping. A faint trumpet can be heard in the background, playing random notes.*

*The trumpet gets louder.*

*The trumpet gets even louder.*

*Someone bangs on the door.*

*Jay groans, gets up, and opens the door. Joseph is standing outside, holding a trumpet.*

Jay: "ALEX!!!"

Joseph: "GET OUT OF MY ROOM!"

Jay: "Wha?"

Joseph: "GET OUT OF MY ROOM!!"

Jay: "But this is my room."

Joseph: "GET OUT OF MY ROOM!!! ASIDFJASIHAIDJGDAFIGJAGKAOKF!!!"

Jay: "You know what, Alex? I'm sick of your shi-"

*Joseph smacks Jay on the head with his trumpet, giving him a severe concussion and memory loss. Jay falls unconscious. Jessica opens the door that separates the two hotel rooms.*

Jessica: "Jay? JAY! Are you alright?! Alex? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"

Joseph: "My name's Joseph."

Jessica: "Yeah, right, 'Joseph.' I know you're Alex, and I'm sick of your shi-"

*Joseph smacks Jessica on the head with his trumpet, giving her a severe concussion and memory loss. Jessica falls unconscious.*

Joseph: "I might as well lock all of these tapes in the hotel safes so they will never be able to reach them again! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA."

*Joseph locks the tapes in their respective safes. Since he's feeling generous, he sets Jay and Jessica right back in their beds. After all is done, Joseph turns and leaves the hotel.*

*Cut to black-screen-white-text.*

"Holy shit. Clearly the effects of exposure to the Operator have taken a toll on Alex."

"I've finally been through all the tapes and footage on the external hard drive. There's one thing left I can think to do."

"I need to see what's at the end of that tunnel. If it's actually as pointless as Tim made it seem, then the trail has gone cold."

"Alex is still at large, giving people concussions with his new weapon. I need to do something before he comes for me again."

That may be a dead end
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
for OOG reasons. The storyline was expanded after the earliest episodes, and #2 might be a... retrospective misstep, a detail that doesn't fit in with later redevelopment.


On the other hand you're pretty close to asking if there are any clips of the Op without a camera present... there have generally been very few instances of characters referring to past happenings, and that's the only other way of conveying an Op sighting.

Entry #50 opens up with Jessica behind the camera. She explains that Alex has killed Jay and that she has decided to take up Jay's investigations in what is happening. She's curious to discover what happened to Jay during those missing six months and the idea that maybe he was under the control of The Operator (just to confirm: that is what might be controlling Alex, right? Sorry if I'm wrong, haven't gone back over the videos?) and the connection between herself and Jay.

i've looked through jay's twitter, back to the time's when totheark's Sidetone was uploaded. i've watched the vid, and realized, that the last picture, with the creature from the end of entry 29, (or noentry, as a matter of fact) is flashing up! between 0:10, and 0:12...I'm sure it is! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOou1wxXu4o&feature=related holy fuck

I wondered for a few weeks if it went in that direction. It would be a real acting and scripting challenge, surely!
*btw, it was seven months

But there is the problem with Alex actually KILLING Jay, that might be a bit scary, and I don't know why people keep assuming that might happen. If the great and stealthy Jay died, I know I'd be petrified to continue on.

You're absolutely right, that's either The Operator or Alex, depending on which theory you'd follow of what happened in 29.
There's something I learned in English class about noticing things that happen in the story. There are two questions, and they shouldn't be taken harshly:
"Why" and "So what"
You're right, but so what? It's nothing new.

 		I've always wanted an entry that has Jess video taping herself saying things like "Entry 13, I've been losing more and more chunks of memory." "Somebody came to the hotel, I know him from somewhere, But I can't remember."

I really think it would be cool if she was filming herself so she won't forget things. It wouldn't happen, but I still like it.

Troseph said after season 2 gets done, which is probably in 1 entry, they will take a brake for about a month and then continue.

God your right. Also if you look a little totheleft you can see the things that represents hoodies eyes from from classified. Could just be the lighting but I'm positive it was the 2 circles.
