Latest guessing game (September07 2011)

Another guessing game 'theorem':

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
First guess 7 answers then index letters in the answers and anagram them to find the 'solution'

My best guesses:
Arc de Triomphe 9=o
Parthenon 7=N
George Washington 4=r 16=n | Washington Monument 4 = h 16 = e
Venus Williams 1=v
starry night 4 = r 7 = n | van gogh 4=g 7=h | vincent van gogh 4=c 7 = t
Statue of Liberty 6 = e 8 = f 13 = r | Liberty Enlightening the world 6=t 8=e 13=h
Big Ben 5 = e

ONRNVRNEFRE (most likely) cannot be anagramed so far as I can tell and there exist no way to tell if any of the steps between are wrong or which ones

Solution is entirely dependent on correctly guessing answers that must then be maniulated :<:
After much guessing and working with the letters I finally got it.
I won't give it away
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

You have some of those right and some wrong. (LOL, obviously)
The next spoiler will tell you how many right

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

You have 5 of them right.
Added clues below

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The 2 mistakes are next to each other

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

"Are you not entertained?"

5 out of 7.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
#2 is partially a movie ref, then a location ref. #3 is a person, and one who lived much... later than your guess. He gave excellent speeches, though.
Those letters can be anagrammed in more ways than one. The blanks at the bottom of the puzzle provide a clue.

M gives you how many words and how many letters in each word are in the answer at the bottom.

Also, M's 2nd hint gives you the link to help you anagram.
