Alright, compilation time - though, I think Thermal would do a better job, since I won't be quite as descriptive or thorough.

9/14/11:
- Received a few emails back and forth from Theresa; told me that I should find others with the packet to see if I hadn't missed something important, etc.
- Ended up finding one last clue to the "3ORWY5TER" clue, turning it into "3ORWY519TER", which decoded into "Cory Wester" by turning the "3", "5", and "19" into letters, and anagraming the whole thing.
- Emailed Theresa about Cory Wester, asking if he was an employee; got a response claiming that he was indeed an employee, and that she would further investigate it.

I'm pretty impressed with some of the dialog and stuff on the facebook walls, they make these look like real people. Not bad.

Alright, early conjecture here. First of all, I'm gonna go ahead and take an educated guess that Cory is not just harmlessly a little under the weather. I'd posit that he has the chip and it's making him sick. I'm bout to make a facebook aside from my normal one and add these people, see if I can stir up some communication with them.

Also, I have a nagging feeling based on the e-mails I got back from them, that CBALtech has a lot to do with this story, I don't wanna do it without a group OK, but I am tempted to press Alice Silva for a little more information.

I also e-mailed Cory, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's dead 24 hours from now. We need Leslie's e-mail.

EDIT: If you are just glancing and looking for an ARG, this looks like it's building towards something awesome. It's real early in the game, now's the time to get in on the ground floor.

I'm with you on not writing off his illness as something random and harmless. As for Leslie, we could try hitting up a couple university email addresses based on her name, but I'm not sure how far we'll get. I'm also considering emailing Scott, seeing as how he's the one who apparently undertook the mailing project, judging by his Facebook posts.

I considered adding them or corresponding with them through Facebook, but I didn't want to stir that pot just yet. As for CBALtech, I also emailed Alice, but like you, received a similar "Oh they're awesome, but I can't talk about it" response. Whether or not to push it... I don't know. That might not be a bad idea, but I think we should get some more information out of Theresa, Cory, and anyone else before jumping to CBALtech. However, I'm not opposed to it, and if you think you have basis for a good inquisitive email, go for it.

EDIT: Just for the hell of it, I tried looking up Leslie Passarelli's email up through SF State's website - of course, no dice. Might just have to start guessing.

i noticed both amandel and the bruco both liked a business called Veil somthing something science and i just KNEWWW something was up

unfortunately, i'll only be able to lurk due to all my work on the karada and other reasons besides....sigh

The number 19 was written on the back of the page showing the state seal. You gave us your name using bold letters and numbers. Also you sent Your safety is not our concern on the Safety and regulations page. but I don't know if he maybe wants something more.

So, I've done my own searching into this. Cory Wester has some video from Lost about Locke saying "don't tell me what I can't do." Maybe that's something to do with the message within the pamphlet leading to him. Pretty much saying he'll do it whether they like it or not. Also, he's been to England quite a lot. Enough to add a bar as his friend on Facebook from there. The Groody Bar is its name.

EDIT: Scratch that, The Groody Bar isn't in England, but Ireland.

Shy and I are conversing with Cory through Facebook - I'll post my chat log whenever it finishes. He seems a bit defensive so far - asking who I've been talking to, etc. Trying not to scare him off.

EDIT: It might not have been such a good idea to give Theresa his name... Well, crap. We'll see how this plays out.
