 		Supernatural did a Slenderman sendup
Just caught today's (March 4th) episode of Supernatural, and it turned out to be an homage/parody of the Slenderman mythos! I don't watch the show regularly, so that was a cool surprise. I thought it was a pretty amusing take on it, with its ridiculous internet origins, inexplicable teleporting, down to having a pair of college kids trying to document everything (the actors they got had the look down - one even resembled Vinnie! - but they kind of sucked). It also doubled as an homage to Scream, of all things.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you guys know. I'm not really sure whether the CW posts their shows online or not, but hell it's the internet. I'm sure you can figure out a way to see it.

Like, I wasn't expecting a full send up here from SPN.
I was totally okay with that.
But they just had such a godawful script.

 		I can't decide if not being a fan of Supernatural will cause you to be more or less disappointed in this episode. Possibly less? Just because you won't realize how far the series has fallen into the crapper (and you also won't realize that it's a show where demons like Slenderman are supposed to exist...)

Basically, it's a fun send-up but don't expect much out of it.

Also, does Facebook even still have the "it's complicated" option for relationships? I feel like either way, that's like name-dropping the "poke" feature. It's like when you see a procedural where the plot hinges on nobody in the world owning smartphones, because its actually a recycled script from the 80s.
