[Trailhead] Argloop
Sept5

Possible new ARG starting at this site:

http://argloop.co.cc/

CTRL+A to highlight and you get an email address

argloopSEPT5SPLATmoc.liamg

Emailing argloopSPLATgmail.com I got this reply:

Quote:
Good. You're in /time you should let all your friends know somehow. This site is for ARG's outside the box or not we will run a bunch of them. On September 5th I'm launching it

I replied to this with I've let my friends know and I'm ready to go. I got this in reply:

Only a small part of the text is actually ROT13. Which decodes to:

Space and time are intertwined and nothing is true

Next up is the morse:

and it would seem you get back a generic email first time around

Also a different email just sent out:

OK, i'll give you the how, and i'll let you decode it -- when you see the answer, you'll understand. I do NOT want credit for this.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
use a Vignere decoder, the keys are 'coding' and 'time'

I can send this in to the PM, but I do think MattCatt_ should get credit. I'm just worried some random person will jump in and take it for themselves.

Edit: I sent the email asking to give MattCatt_ credit.

Awesome. He definitely deserves the credit for solving what he did. Now I guess we wait and see...

Lurked a little while you guys hammered out those ciphers. Great job Mattcatt! Think I'll hitch my wagon to this caravan and see where it goes. I do love a good cipher!

Edit: Got a reply.

good. You're in time for the second set of ciphers. Tell them that they showed extreme skill and this one will be harder

Hi all,

Watched this unfold -- I also love anything cipher/code. Congrats to MattCatt for breaking though all those ciphers!

I haven't sent an email to join, don't think it's important at this point. But will be following along and helping where I can.

Yeah, I don't think he expected us to crack that first set so fast, so I'm sure he really worked at this 2nd set. I really dig a good cipher, too, so this should be good!

Everyone check the site. It's been updated.

Edit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Time of War" has been unlocked by the deciphering exploits of MattCatt. It even shows him as a winner. Looks like they took your words to heart cherrytree.
