There was a construction site, so I have to assume that the noises came from there, as a man of logic. However, also being a man of paranoia, I have to say; Never leave your house, or the top of that winnabego.

I feel like, what with the way their relationship is so fragile and how deeply tied that fragility is to Slenderman, that the main goal of that video was to establish Roger's inability to climb to the roof of the Winnebago. Either as a way to emphasize their differences, or to foreshadow a future situation where she'll leave him behind...or if Roger goes psychopath again, as a way to show where her safe ground is.
