 		Well I admit I was disappointed seeing a 14 minute run time and learning virtually nothing except J has a new tape and the key opens a door (damn!). Tim being in the woods is an interesting new fact but otherwise I expected a little more.

I smell the season finale upcoming, and all I want is just a FEW answers.

 		Oddities with the entry
A few things bothered me about this particular entry, not at all with how it was filmed or anything, but talking theory here.

Why would Alex go through the trouble of hiding -that- tape, but not the tape of him rocking Bruce's world? We know that this tape is labeled and the one of ol' Brucey getting the rock treatment is -not- labled, so they aren't one and the same.

Second: Why did Alex tell Jay what the key was to? Jay just grabbed a random key, he had no idea what it did. Granted Alex might not know that, but he's been shown so far to know Jay isn't the brightest in the world. So why tell him what the key went to? Why tell him something was missing at all if he no longer trusts Jay?

Crackpot theory: Alex -wanted- Jay to find the tape. He -wanted- Jay to know what the key went to. That's why he went out of his way to say it out loud to Jay. He know's Jay is not the best sleuth, so he knew he'd have to spell it out for him.

It's possible that Alex wants Jay to know what's on -that- tape. Since we don't know what was on the tape Jay tried to steal the first time, it's possible that Alex may have hidden an entirely different tape - one with something he DID want Jay to see on it. Or, it could be the same tape, and this could all be crazy talk.

That could make sense, I think. Going by (bugger, I've forgotten which video it was) the video where hoody and Masky try to get revenge on Alex, Alex and hoody may have had a run-in in the past, which may lend some credence to "I told you not to follow me!". Also, to me it clears up why Alex attacked him, seeing as he wouldn't just be a passer by.
Blech, sorry for poor wording and theorising, it's a half-formed idea that I know is going to get a hole picked in it.

EDIT: It was Entry 45. Also, when Timsky tries to choke Alex, it makes me wonder if there's any significance to that.

Alex attacking Bruce was on the hard drive, so there wasn't a tape to hide of it.

Even if he doesn't trust Jay, he might have realized that if Jay wasn't the one that took it, he would be more willing to help if he knew how urgent it was.

Anyway, after seeing the way Alex mocked Jay with the tape in 47, I really think he doesn't want Jay to see it. Either way, I guess we'll find out next entry.

 		The more I think about it, the more I like the idea raised upthread that Tim and Jay had a little talk during the 12 minute downtime that Jay is keeping from us.

I don't think that Masky wanted what he had told/shown Jay to be on camera. Or maybe to get Jay to trust him, he took off his mask. I don't think this Masky was certainly Tim, mainly because of the running and maybe because when he had his little "talk" with Jay, he took off his mask and BAM. Tim isn't standing there, but whoever is Hoody is standing there.

Sorry guys, but one of my crackpot theories is that Brian just so happens to be Hoody.

 		I think Alex still is trying to help Jay in whatever ways he can, BUT he has to make it seem like he's not, just in case TO or the Maskies are listening. He almost sounds like he's distancing himself intentionally again.
