Meh, the point was not, "who has a better chess motif?" The point was, "Hey, look, chess! What does it mean??" Because speculation FTW.

Especially with the latest update on the OC blog about the state of the chess game, it really seems like there's a much more in-depth meaning to this chess game than anyone has really paid attention to. I mean, not a lot has happened yet, but what about when the bigger pieces start to move? I'll assume for now that the black is Slender Man, and the White King is Tristan. As for the others, I have no idea.

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into it, and the game is more symbolic than literal? in any case, I just like to wonder and make random theories. So yeah.
