Yeah, I shot a Haiku over to him. I couldn't decide on whether I should do some art work or written word. He said he didn't need details and Haiku can say a whole lot without detail, so I went with that.

I believe this "exercise" is therapeutic. By accessing, expressing and accepting that "darker" side of yourself, you can learn to sort of control it. Everyone would ideally like to think on the lighter side of things, but it's good to realize what you have hidden down in your darker half and realize the ability to put it out there.

I don't know if you've ever taken a Jung Personality Test, but they are pretty interesting. I'm an INTJ.

I've sent a rather obfuscated image to Shadow.

While shadow proved the existence of light, can the same be said the other way around? It'll be interesting to see how Light attempts to redress any balance.

Two pieces of thought have been received. Once it becomes nine, we will release the plan for how both I and VS3.1 are needed to find the 13...

Yay, treasure hunt!! Very Happy

Interesting, though, that he says he's received two pieces of thought, when we've got at least four people saying they've sent something. Did some of them not count?

-Dagada's "rather obfuscated image"
-aquarius' Haiku
-my song
-veebee's poem

And yet he's only received two pieces of thought?

I've just sent him a rather obscure short story via a Facebook message. Have you guys been sending him your pieces via Facebook or email?

ETA: After hearing your replies, I'll send my story in via email, too. Better safe than sorry!

I emailed mine in, purely because facebook doesn't support sending .mp3 files.

I e-mailed mine shortly after he asked for things Confused

Edit: Just had a quick "chat" with Shadow and he's confirmed 5 responses, saying "Want 4 more"
Isaid "Fine, we'll get you 4 more, goodnight" and closed chat, to which he replied "Whatever."

You know, I'm starting to like him.. Very Happy

I agree. I am, too. He just posted a song by a band named Darkthrone on his profile called In the Shadow of the Horns. I posted one back by Shadows Fall called The Power of I and I. The lyrics are pretty relevant, too.

I emailed him a picture that I created on the computer. I'm not good at writing songs and I certainly don't have many deep dark moments. I'm a pretty positive guy. Very Happy

All the pawns are lined up, but the king piece is lacking... one more submission before I reveal the first dark revelation...

Nearly there folks!

Edit: New e-mail:

Quote:
Dear one of the pawns of the darker side of the board

Without the ninth piece, both black and white become grey...

Yet you have humoured me. So, as such, whilst I have revealed my title to all, I will hint at my name with this compilation of words and time to you.

Look closely within the darkness and the light.

You eight alone, for now, may call on me at any time - all you have to do is call my name.

Not all is the reflection it should be...

This is not to say others may not learn of it - or indeed, address me later - but call this a reward for your hard work.

[Rumplestiltskin it is not, though closer than you may imagine...]

The Shadow, returning to the author once more...
#/~?...Z3JlYnNyZXRlcHRz...Intueor thanks you.... how may we be of help?

(The bolded text was hidden)
There is a jpeg attached to the e-mail but UF wont let me upload it at the minute, I'll try again later.
Edit 2: The code at the end of the mail decodes
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
from base 64 to grebsretepts Which reverses to St Petersberg

The picture attachment. I had to compress it to get it to load.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You can just make out a date, March 12 1900 right at the bottom of the image.
