I'm doing OK so far, I have all except 8, 11 and the background image. And I have noticed that

Guardian task four is out. I'm ALL OVER this one.
For those who don't know, I consider my self an aspiring chef. I'm still practicing and all that, but, a challenge that involves cooking and recipes? Heeeell yeeeeah!

Just a heads up : I asked the PM about sock puppeting; because I had some thoughts about another player for a few days [don't worry who, it's all good ], he assured me that after his first game, and the blunders it caused, he's not doing it again. So, if anyone else was thinking it, it's not the case.

Considering I only have until the fourth, I won't be able to be as creative as I originally wanted, but I've got some excellent ideas. Not sharing yet of course ;p

All I will say is this; You can find normal foods in crazy colors. Run with that!

RE the horse task.

One image is Batman, The dark Knight.
Most of the other horses carry "knights" of some type - cowboys, vigilantes etc. so the horses are brave, but not always the warriors.
I believe one image is from Animal Farm, where the horses are part of the revolution.
You also have the titular War Horse, leading the charge into battle.

So, the Dark Knight, while the only human character, still carries the spirit of vigilantism and, of course "knight" is represented by a horse's head on the chess board. Note the "dark" aspect.

And I guess we should also consider the Horse's role in pulling a chariot...

Sorry I've been quiet lately. We had a Halloween party at my apartment this past weekend, and my roommates left most of the planning, prep and cleaning to me. Needless to say, it was a busy weekend!

As far as the fifth puzzle goes, is there a way to use Photoshop or a similar tool to move the pieces around? I've got no experience with image editing software, but I suppose that I could just print the image and cut the pieces out, but I don't have a color printer, so that would be difficult.

It's really annoying, but I swear I've seen that church out of the train window when I've been on business trips, but I go all over the place and I just can't pin it down. I'm mainly in the south west of England, but travel up to Birmingham (in the middle!), South Wales and London lots, and also down into Cornwall occasionally, always by train. Very annoying.

All I can say is think English, and think the remaining treasures, the pics must link yo one of them somehow

I thought I had found the church, but I guess I was wrong, because looking at more pictures of what I THOUGHT was it lead to several differences. Tried fishing for answers, but Vlad called me on it. The poem he posted on FB, it was brought up too, it's also no mistake every time he references it, his I's are 1s. Such as "1F" he's trying to point to Hex encryption. I'm finishing up my entry for the 4th and 5th treasures (the recipe challenge) and once I'm done, I'll get to work on the other stuff, if time permits.


Taking all the 1f's out of the poem, and running them through http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/ for Hex showed nothing in the text box, but strangly enough, 13 (the number of treasures) 31s (31st being Halloween, the night after it was posted). Binary is tagged in it, I tried taking all the 1s and o's down the first letter of each line (making the O's in to 0's), but it didn't give anything usable.
