 		Forgot that I added Vlad on facebook after reading the first page but felt like I had no idea what was going on. But Vlad messaged me today and we had an OOG chat. He wanted me to post this info incase any newcomers want to get into this now.

im not gonna lie i feel like I came into this way late and have no idea where its at so far. Tried catching up on uf forums but it only confused me

quick summation?

Vlad:
Vladimir Sirin - this character who is talking to people has questioned the idea of what 'identity' is. He's sent some files out, at request of people, regarding the work of Intueor.
There appears to be a 'project circadian' counting down towards the 11/11/11 date
it involves the thirteen treasures of albion [or england]
each treasure needs a guardian.
Intueor - the organisation that VS seems to be part of - are appointing guardians based on skilled type of tasks.
we're currently up to the 6th task...

me:
so does someone "win" each task by solving it first or something?

Vlad:
yes - it usually is 'first' but can also be 'best answer by x deadline' as well...
there seems to be a running theme through some/all of the tasks according to one or two players...
[NOT going to confirm or deny Wink]

Vlad:
Oh, and one last thing - Vladimir seems to have a shadow side to himself - someone called Sergei who is more independent and more rebellious. Sergei knows of Vlad, Vlad seems not to know of Sergei.
IF you'd be kind enough to post this transcript up on unfiction it may help others get in to the game.

 		I also had a bit of an OOG chat with Vlad today and he said he was REALLY impressed with the person who solved the puzzle. Whoever solved it got it in around 3 hours.

Taking all the 1f's out of the poem, and running them through http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/ for Hex showed nothing in the text box, but strangly enough, 13 (the number of treasures) 31s (31st being Halloween, the night after it was posted). Binary is tagged in it, I tried taking all the 1s and o's down the first letter of each line (making the O's in to 0's), but it didn't give anything usable.


1F is hex for 00011111 or 11/1/11. Sort of a play on the date that he sent the email (according to Sergei)

 		To the people chatting with Vlad: are you chatting with him over FB chat? It seems like every time that I'm logged into FB, he's not. Granted, that almost definitely seems to be due to time zone differences, as I have only been able to find time to get on in the mornings CST, but I'm not sure if I missed out on another chat location.

As far as the image goes, I honestly have no clue what to do with this one, haha. I'm basically just poking around the internet, looking at different images of flowers with little success. The building looks like it might be a church, but since there's no religious symbols visible, that may not be the case. Anybody have any luck so far?

 		I was looking up the poem posted by Vlad on his facebook. The author Joseph Rudyard Kipling also had a ship named after him. The Rudyard Kipling trawler was launched on 11 November 1920. The date is too much of a coincidence to ignore so I decided to post it here to see what you all make of it because I cant see where to go from here.

That's an excellent find! I'll try to prod him with the name and see if there's anything I can get out of him with it.

 		Well I think I've figured out the location in the background of the photo. Spoiler for those that want to find it themselves...

I believe it is St. Padarn's Church. LINK to the best picture I could find showing the clock with a window above it and slightly to the left. This links to the treasure of the coat of Padarn Beisrudd.


I have had no luck with the flowers in the photo yet.

On the saint that founded the church : Saint Padarn (Latin: Paternus) is the eponymous founder of St Padarn's Church. Llanbadarn Fawr,[1] near present day Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, Wales, in the early 6th century. At one time quite a popular saint, he is now chiefly remembered because of the church and his connection with King Arthur, for his early vita is one of only five insular saints' lives and two Breton ones that include a mention of Arthur that seems to be independent of Geoffrey of Monmouth's myth-making in Historia Regum Britanniae.[2] He is considered one of the seven founder saints of Brittany. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Padarn

If you would like to solve this puzzle for yourself don't read anymore of this post!!!!

To decode that I:

-Replaced all the "C"s with 100 (C=100 in roman numerals).

-Replaced all the "orwellroom"s with 101 (Room 101 is a torture chamber from George Orwell's novel, Nineteen Eighty-Four).

-Replaced all the "*"s with 111 (From the first test).

And then put it into a DEC / CHAR decoder on this site: http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/

 		Well I was talking to Vlad tonight. Below's the conversation though I have noticed anything unusual about the file:

As stated to others who have asked though, it was partly in reference to the fact that '1f' results in 11111 in hex - the same as the date for all our 'friends' across the world, regardless of formatting.
There is other significance as well - Kipling, for example, and the nature of the poem ties in witha previous task.
