Yeah, I agree. His such a great character – for me, it's because he's just so vulnerable. Not just because of his illness, but because he really acts like a real fifteen year old waaaaaaaaaaaay over his head. Maybe it's just my age (I'm 25) and that I'm autistic, but I can't help but feel a bit...well, protective and God 'Video Log 12/13/11', was just heartbreaking.

Hmm....so what does everyone think that Erick is hiding? Hmm....I do believe him, although I'm curious to know what exactly he's hiding from his audience. It's clearly something big that Atlas thought he had over him, something which he thought could keep him from investigating any further. So far, I've got nothing.

Hmmm....does anyone else have any theories about what's going on?


Atlas obviovsly has screrwed Eric up pretty badly. If Eric is hiding something then it must have t do with his hectic family life.

As far as that video went, it seems Erik might be experiencing the after effects of when he was out that little while back. It seems reasonable that he'd still be having memory gaps since the long time he had a blank space, but for him to be seemingly hostile during a blackout towards "Cameron" as he called him, who knows what he's been up to?

Hmm...could Cameron been with Erik during his 'treatment'? Maybe he's another one of Atlas's patients or was working with. Erik has stated that, it might be that he remembered seeing Cameron and mistakenly confronted him about it.

Does anyone think that Slendy might not actually be a bad guy in this series? So far, he hasn't done anything to hurt Erik (okay, so far, so Slendy.) Maybe he's some sort of entity which doesn't quite understand humans and instead of trying to. Perhaps, as in, his presence causes, but he might be doing it unintentionally. Perhaps, making its presence known to Erik is a threat to Atlas somehow and Atlas posted those links on Erik's channel was to give Erik the wrong idea about him. Or perhaps, when Erik was a kid, Slendy befriended Erik, but either due to prolonged exposure, Erik had to forget him or he and this entity witnessed something which, something so traumatic that left Erik unable to remember anything. Atlas or someone connected to him banished Slendy from Erik and only recently, Slendy has been able to make contact, confused to why his friend doesn't wish to interact with him. When he came to visit Erik the first time, he might have been disappointed that his friend was asleep and why he hid in the cupboard might have been a game of hide and seek. However, Atlas

Does Erik have his own agenda? He seems very relucent to bring the police into things. We haven't seen much of Erik's friend, who claimed he didn't want to be in his videos anymore - had Erik threatened him with something? - and he might be trying to expose or exploit Atlas by publishing them on the internet. 'Warning seems to suggest that their encounter in the first Daylog was not their first. Erik's description of the police as 'pigs' seems to suggest that he or his family have been in trouble with them before.

Hmm...just what does? Okay, this is most ridiculous theory yet, but what if Erik is gay? The and someone outing you in a High School when you already suffer from a mental illness would be particularly painful. He might have agreed to go to. Posting that video of him and his date together in bed might have been a move to quash any doubts about his sexuality. I know it sounds cliché, but on the Google + Q & A awhile back, Atlas did say that Erik had no girlfriend. Was it a threat to Erick to 'out' him? American High Schools, to the best of my knowledge, aren't a great place to be publicly gay or so I'm told.

Complete ridiculousness, I know. Thus, the return of Servo, marks the return of my crackpot theories Smile

 		Intresting, so Erik was still attending school during his online hitaus - not locked in Atlas's dungeon like we all thought, at least not all of the time. Very unexpected and nicely played by the creators. Makes sense, given since they pride themselves on secrecy and they wouldn't want to attract undue attention to themselves (well, beside a Youtube account and Google + entries, but I'll suspend my disbelief here....and I'm sure they've got a backup plan when that's discovered)

Oh God, poor Erik - all his friends are deserting him. Did they think he was just ignoring them or did he do something in the last three months? (Or they could have just been freaked out by his behaviour) Or maybe they saw Slendy or Atlas and are distancing themselves from Erik....
Or are his friends in on it with Atlas or Slendy? Maybe their simply there to keep an eye on him or controlled like Erick?


I can't blame Taylor being freaked out by this at all - I'm not quite sure even if their close friends or she really honestly just feels sorry for him. Their could be an innocent reason to why she came back other than being with Atlas. I don't think Taylor is the girl from 'Homecomming' though, their voices seem to be very different.

First time we've heard Erik's Mom, intresting. Is it just me or did she sound maybe a little...drunk? Alternativily, she could just have been tired or, as with Erik's Uncle, maybe mental illness runs in the family. Maybe it's why Erik hasn't told his Mom about what's happened or about the videos and why he stayed with his brother for awhile. Other than that, she could have simply had enough of Erik for one day (it would be stressful being Erik's Mom)
