Hmmm....looks like security camera footage. Guess Gas Mask didn't return Erick home after all....

Like Noah, it looks like Erick is going to go through a major course of brainwashing. Birthday? Jeez, that's disturbing. Looks like their trying to brainwash him into a completely new identity.

THEORIES:

THEORY #1:
His girlfriend.

It's possible that she discovered that she was being controlled by Atlas and Atlas threatened to hurt Erick if she didn't co-operate with him. Or she's involved with Atlas heavily, deeply in love or obsessed by Erick and believed that he needed to be recruited into the cult (assuming that is what it is). At the end of the video, we hear a sound which may be a laugh or a sob of a girl or both....

THEORY #2:
Erick is in fact adopted and some members of the cult are his biological family. They've 'reclaimed' him and are celebrating his real birthday.

THEORY #3:
That or Erick's wayward Father is a member of the cult, and has 'reclaimed' his son. Erick and his Mom moved around a lot when he was a kid so that she could shake off Erick's Father's trail. This doesn't quite fit in with the whole birthday thing, of course, unless being inducted into the cult is a birthday of sorts. Erick's Uncle may also have been injured or murdered by Erick's Father, who didn't take too kindly to someone taking his place.

God, I can't wait to the next update!

I'm sticking to my denial, uh, I mean my gut instinct that he's alive - and the recent messages seem to seem suggest that he is. Unless, their expecting a corpse to blow out the candes.... (okay, that's twisted)

But seriously, I think Erick's alive and I think he'll continue to be the protraganist of the series (could be wrong, though). What Atlas has planned for him, God only knows, though....

Looks like Atlas has taken over his blog. Oh, and I just realised something rather stupidly: in the message Atlas sent me, he was talking in present sense about Erick - Erick's alive! Unless, of course, he really is messing with us...

Interesting about schizophrenia. In one of the early videos, one of Erick's friends were very insistent that he didn't want to be part of Erick's videos anymore - maybe Erick was filming things with his friends along the lines of the Atlas videos and told them as a mock up, but perhaps Erick has delusions and is trying to make other people believe his delusions are real? (Although that does seem like a cheap horror cop out, though) Smile

on his youtube profile, he's [Erik] got three friends listed. Wanna take a guess at which three?
EMH, TT, and then DoA. And in one of the videos there was an observer symbol sticker thing on a little shack I think it was, when Erik was walking through a park.

Dunno if you guys noticed the changes to the accounts, as it hasn't been mentioned here, but Atlas seems to be screwing around with some things. The name on the PP channel is now "notErik Daniels", the about me section was edited with an "underourcontrol" at the bottom, with a link to the Death of Atlas channel too.

And any speculations on the chosen profile picture? :V Seems a bit odd for a nail in a piece of wood to be used.
-would've put up a picture of a fedora, because fuck yeah, fedoras-

And the G+ account, the "Bragging rights" section, I'm guessing he also added the "terribeliar" thing there too? Since the other channels thing on the PP youtube account is titled "wheretruthwillbefound".

So yeah :V if you haven't caught dese things.
