I have a younger relative who is autistic and he works very hard to communicate with people (he used to not talk at all) and it hurts his progress when people (usually kids in his class) make fun of him for it. I am profoundly unsurprised by the amount of fangirling over the male actors in Marble Hornets. For one thing, all the characters are dudes. And it's not like it's completely different from when everyone on the forum was like "Lol Jessica is hot." Also, Tim's mere existence basically makes it inevitable.

God, yeah. That's why I stopped trying to participate in anime fandoms. Far too much of that. Video game boards were much the same way, with the added fun of misogyny. Then I discovered ARGs through Marble Hornets and never looked back!*

I shudder to think of it too D: this place cheers me up on bad days, and I'd hate to see it dissolve into that sort of thing.

*Bear in mind I'm not talking about all anime and video game boards here, I think I just stumbled across a few bad ones.

EDIT: I approve of smoothies. Perfect for St. Pete weather Wink
