Fellow brony?

Might-be-a-brony. Haven't watched a single episode yet but it's been veeery very close..
Mostly been watching Wakfu (goddamnit that program kicks ASS!)

Ok, back to on-topic.

CraicIsMighty's theory is a bit interesting.
The artsy-fartsy shots can be spot-on just the waiting of Slenderman's arrival.
Or maybe they are somekind of a mark? Like, "OOH SLENDYYY, come and mindfuck Brian when he leans his head, mmkay?"

That comes to a question: is Alex able to communicate with him in words, not in drawings etc..?

was Alex's monologue in entry 22 really just a lie, or was his apparent victimization by the operator accurate?

Well, I have my opinion about that. If, and only, if OP can control Alex, then he might be able to read Alex's thoughts, and Alex, by lying tries to help his friends, so OP would think that Jay and others are gone already, and he does not need to chase them.

But if The Operator can read Alexs thoughts, wouldn't he know Alex was lying.

That is why he is acting like that. He not only lies to TO, but he lies to himself, making him think that everyone is really gone.

Real special effects in this were awesome. I like some other vlogs trying like the hallway Slenderman passing Brian who is clueless. Could more people in this vlog be clueless one the best video.

Seeing what they were filming of marble hornets, I think it's a good thing the Operator came in and ended filming.

Really looks like a crappy film.

I think Brian's comment at 3:30 is pretty interesting. "It seems like this whole film is walking".

This could just be a throwaway statement but I wonder if there's more to it than that. It just seems curious that no one involved with the Marble Hornets production seemed to enjoy being in it or have a very high opinion of it.

Brian : "It seems like this whole film is walking." "What's the point of this shot?"

Tim: "Who wrote that dialogue with you Alex?" "It's a good thing I had nothing to do after this."

Jay: "It was pretty pretentious student fare."

It seems like we're meant to infer that all these "artsy" shots Alex took in Entry 51 was just Alex waiting for the Operator to come "eat" Brian. But was the whole Marble Hornets movie just a ploy for Alex to lure his buds out into the woods (most of the movie DID take place outside) or did Alex legitimately want to make a movie at first? If it's the latter, when did Alex "change"? Jay mentioned that Marble Hornets was an "on and off" production. What prompted the breaks? Alex's apparent paranoia from season 1, or Alex's apparent nefarious behavior from entry 51? Which leads into the final dilemma presented by this entry: was Alex's monologue in entry 22 really just a lie, or was his apparent victimization by the operator accurate? Alex's fear and paranoia in entries 7, 10, 4, and 8 seemed pretty genuine. Perhaps Evil!Alex really is just a slendy controlled persona of Alex, which could explain why Alex withheld this tape: perhaps the Operator itself didn't want Jay to see this tape.

Yeah, I've been wondering about the student film, too. It seemed to be completely forgotten until now. Alex is a real despot when it comes to directing, and everyone involved seems to regret dealing with the film even before Slend shows up. I feel like there's something here. We haven't seen any film evidence of Alex being a fun guy to work with, but it seems that he was at least tolerable in the early days of shooting, and then his disposition changed.

After this video, though, Alex is definitely my #1 baddie in the series. Completely beyond redemption? No. But I'm torn about whether Alex's behavior is caused by the Operator or if the Operator is caused by Alex's behavior.

I think the film is meant to be understood as the "pretentious student fare" Jay describes, with the walking-down-the-tracks cliche shots and poor, stilted dialogue. In a way, the whole MH series, TTA videos included, seems to me almost like a satire of film, particularly of narcissistic self-made films so prevalent on YouTube.

The only complaint I have about this entry is that they're getting a LOT of mileage out of that still image of 0-town... I miss when he moved. I also wish they'd at least switch up the image of him they use.

Reading we think Alex can be mind read by the Operator course some people can be misread. Hpwever yes the Operator probably knows he is lying or mental unsure. The Operator sure must have a degree in knowing people but he could be alive for hundreads of years absorbing lots of knowledge. I am thinking he always had not wore the suit and tie.

I'd say that Alex's increased irritability and paranoia point to him changing during the filming. It all comes back to Entry 12, and how you interpret Alex's interaction with The Operator. I'd say the most likely explanation is that he has never seen (or does not remember seeing) The Operator before. There's also the possibility that he's being intentionally manipulative, but his personality change has not occurred yet, and he hasn't gone back to "normal Alex" since. So, unlikely.

Reading the posted theory Alex seemed weird in the video course this old version of Alex filming. No clue if like Alex knew something would go down while filming.

Incidentally, where do you suppose the "home" from "Return home" is? The town/area where MH was filmed? Alex's house? Brian's house? Is it the same "home" Alex mentions in #22, when he says "I'm going back to my home"?
