As someone else mentioned, why would Alex give Jay all the other tapes and hold back this one? Answer: It's the only one Alex looks actively evil in. In all the other tapes, Alex is being harassed by some Slender dude and is in need of help. In this one, he looks a lot less innocent.

Seth is sick, probably Slender related. Tim is here and Brian, well, Brian looked kinda deadish by the end of this, though he could've been just unconscious for the Hoody lovers out there. Where's Jay? (Or Sarah even?) Maybe Jay really does have some sort of resistance to Slendy and realized that if you don't think about him and don't give him power over you, kinda like Freddy Kreuger, he can't get you. He escaped, plain old escaped from Slendy's clutches. The drawback is, though, you forget about your encounters with Slendy if you do this so you have to figure it all over again if you meet Slendy again. Somehow, though, Jay is key to what Slendy needs. And so either A)Alex is an evil son of a bitch and gave him the tapes to draw him back in to the Slender madness, holding back the one tape that would really make him question Alex's motives or B) Slendy brainwashed Alex into doing so.

So The Operator was using Alex, even before the 7 months of season 2, as a puppet, to take the cast of Marble Hornets to the area where the basement of doom is located (in game) but somehow Jay and Tim both escaped.. Jay obviously doesn't remember being taken, but according to 22, he disappeared along with everybody else. So until 52, we can speculate on how and why Tim and Jay are still alive and why Tim is the one who still has his memories...

Okay, I'm back. It was a pretty good entry, and I liked the season 1 feel it had. Now, several things:

1. Hey, Brian finally returned from the ark getting snacks.
2. Alex seems to have been offering all the cast members to the Operator, trapping them there.
3. I wonder if that hospital was meant to be the location from the first part of the tape from Entry #26, before it cut to Amy and Alex.
4.Brian and Tim together definitely suggests they are working together as totheark.

I apologize if this has already been said (I'm tired as hell), but one of the things I was thinking about is the possibility of the hotel being the next hospital/school/blanket emporium. There are obvious differences in room quality (and other theory holes), but it seems like Jay and Jessica might have been "planted" in the hotel in a similar way.

I just remembered. If this tape was withheld from Jay, it's likely that Alex also withheld the Entry #22 tape that he found at the tower. I'm guessing either Tim or Brian stole the Entry #22 tape from Alex so Jay could see it.
