Here's my wild random speculation:

First half
1. Grey
2. Three
3. Juliet

I tried this and found this from KING HENRY VI.
Quote:

KING EDWARD IV How many children hast thou, widow? tell me.

LADY GREY Three, my most gracious lord.

2nd Half
4. Above
5. Table
6. Yeats

Grouping these together gives me a Yeats piece "The Heart Of The Spring" with this passage:
Quote:

When the boy had left Aengus son of Forbis in his room, and had
lighted the lamp which, by some contrivance of the wizard's, gave
forth a sweet odour as of strange flowers, he went into the wood and
began cutting green boughs from the hazels, and great bundles of
rushes from the western border of the isle, where the small rocks
gave place to gently sloping sand and clay. It was nightfall before
he had cut enough for his purpose, and well-nigh midnight before he
had carried the last bundle to its place, and gone back for the roses
and the lilies. It was one of those warm, beautiful nights when
everything seems carved of precious stones. Sleuth Wood away to the
south looked as though cut out of green beryl, and the waters that
mirrored them shone like pale opal. The roses he was gathering were
like glowing rubies, and the lilies had the dull lustre of pearl.
Everything had taken upon itself the look of something imperishable,
except a glow-worm, whose faint flame burnt on steadily among the
shadows, moving slowly hither and thither, the only thing that seemed
alive, the only thing that seemed perishable as mortal hope. The boy
gathered a great armful of roses and lilies, and thrusting the glow-
worm among their pearl and ruby, carried them into the room, where
the old man sat in a half-slumber. He laid armful after armful upon
the floor and above the table..................

- hazels
- rushes
- roses
- lilies
- glow-worm

Still pretty clueless....

Uh, disregard the above blathering, Krystyn stated:

<krystyn> Sh1ft: I wish I could tell you my hint was even half as clever as you want it to be Smile
<Omnie> is the final hint inherent in the puzzle, or are we looking for another page that'll contain the hint? That's what I'm confused about...
<krystyn> I feel bad that I am sort of helping you and making you guys frustrated - it's really a lot simpler than you're thinking it is, but you have to really look at the page itself.
<krystyn> and then it may become apparent what you need to do next.
<Gupfee> oooh, did anyone check the sourcecode?
<yanka> yes
<ScrappyDoo> the /hint/ suggests that the trail might be a continuation down more webpages adding /hint/something/something... maybe
<yanka> the page itself: maybe it is something about the bg color or the font used?
<Giskard> I tried ROT'ing or otherwise doing something with the initials GTJATY, but that doesn't turn anything up
<Omnie> the size of the image? 591x185?
<Omnie> well, it's in a table...with a border around it....aaahhh...
<Gupfee> this page was supposed to be found from Dina's blog, right?
<Gupfee> are there any references to Yeats there?
<Omnie> the title - "turning and turning" - but which page are you referring to?
<Gupfee> the page we're trying to find Smile
<krystyn> Ultimately. What this puzzle is, this /hint? It's just a hint.
<krystyn> It does not touch Project Mu in any practical manner. Like I said, it's pretty much self-sufficient.
<krystyn> er, ultimately was in response to Gup asking about a page being found at Dina's blog.
<krystyn> This puzzle is unto itself.

I looked at the hints and I clicked on Three on the (Calender) Table in Dina's weblog and I find this:

November 03, 2003

inbetween
Amazing.

At the point in my life where I feel most unsure of everything and anything that I have ever seen with my own eyes, I have a wonderful night's sleep. I am tense and ready to spring into action, but for the first time in months now I feel rested. It's an odd feeling. When I slept, the darkness was a soothing caul over me. I was cradled in the warmth of real, good sleep.

I have been searching so hard for this sweet relief, and here it is, on the very eve of something inside me breaking through. If it wasn't so readily apparent before, I'd say that my body is taking one last measure of preparedness for the times ahead. Sweet, sweet sleep.

I wish we knew what the next thing was.

np: All I Need Is Everything, Over the Rhine

The NP: is from Karen Bergquist.

Should we look at this entry more closely? Are the other hints referring to another entry?

Nice job!

For those that don't know, and those who care: "papillon" is French for "butterfly".

Yeah, well done. I'd never have got that.

With some of the puzzles, you could look back and think "ahh!", perhaps kicking yourself for missing it. I look at this and think W.T.F?

Ah! Well that helps a little, I take it the music matched joebrents rendition of the background score?

I'd compare them myself, but since "game over", I've gradiually lost momentum and am finding it hard enough just replying now Very Happy

Also, perhaps I lost the plot completely, but could somebody explain the hint. Aren't hints supposed to make you LESS confused? Embarassed

So, wait a minute, if you didn't know the Papillon (I don't really, either), how did you get it from looking at a portrait of Schumann?

Nice job, anyway, even if it means the wohle things is offically 100% solved now.

Jesse's sketch has been drawn following schumann's portrait ( if you look at the pose ) si i tried downloading schumann's midis and Papillon was the one.

We've done our job, now only the PM's need to finish theirs and post the remaining answers to the FAQ Wink

*winks at Krystyn* That was a great hint though Very Happy

... the puzzling... the despair of not knowing... the thrills of discovery... it almost felt like the game was back... oh but it isn't Rolling Eyes

Oh and before I forget: great job Moriar!!
