Well, that did'nt go down well...

Don't know if I should quit already, but I think my most recent project just did a nosedive into its own grave. No one looks at it anymore, so if someone could give me some constructive criticism on what I did wrong please do tell me. I hope this is the right place to post. The project is still going on, but i might just let it die soon.

best regards, an ARG-creator n00b

It is called "fading memories-erased smiles" and is in the news and rumors section.

Some things you might want to consider is: Release of new information (how often to you send out updates to your players), and is new information relying on players figuring out a clue/puzzle before you give out new info? Sometimes players get stuck in a rut that if you can find a creative way to offer a hint or a work around to the info, you as PM may be able to get things back on track.

It's one of the things that can accidently cause an ARG to implode under its own weight.

Well, maybe I should have a "regular" uodate shedule. Also, I do have some minor...production issues. I am trying to work around the problem I have right now(additional characters). Except that I think I have a good idea of how to make this story progress, as well as how it will play out.

Since I just read you want to restart your project.... I'll finally respond.

Plan your entire game out first, but be prepared to modify aspects as you go. Also, get help - perhaps gather a team, or get advice from other PMs you know {not the SM kids, please, but a REAL PM}.
