[OT] TRON Drink Coasters Greetings programs.
I thought that some people here might be interested in my latest project - TRON themed drink coasters. I have a few different designs (TRON:Legacy Identity Disc, TRON:Classic Identity Disc, and EOLC coaster) in a variety of colors.
I'm making them available to everyone for $6 per coaster plus shipping (usually $6 for people in the USA, contact me for international price) but I do offer some discounts if you order multiple coasters.
TRON:Classic drink coaster
TRON:Legacy drink coaster
TRON:EOLC drink coaster
Each coaster is made of acrylic plastic and laser etched & cut. The disc coasters are the most functional (they have the design on the top side and 4 small cork feet on the bottom) and while the EOLC coasters are a bit less functional (they lack the cork feet due to the translucent acrylic and have a hole in the middle) they are the most popular on other boards (like the tron-sector ).
Send me an email (rcaslis @ xkill.net) if you are interested and we can discuss the specifics. More pictures here .
End-Of-Line
Mods: I'm an occasional lurker here and a very infrequent poster in the past. Please delete/edit this thread if I'm somehow out of line. Thanks.

Thank you for posting these on unfiction.
The EOLC coasters, I'm assuming they are single sided right? can you make them double sided or make both sides available?
I actually have one of the wall signs from the EOLC that has the second half of the code. If you can reproduce the two sides of the coaster, perhaps we can also make the wall placards as well.
Also, I'm in for as least a red and blue Tron disc, an EOLC coaster, and a black Legacy disc.

Yeah, the coasters are one-sided. In theory I could etch one side, flip it over and etch the other side (then cut it out) but I suspect getting it accurate will prove difficult. I'll try it on a scrap piece next time I schedule some laser time though.

Sure, no problem. Just email me or PM me and we can work out the payment details.
I expect to schedule some laser time this weekend so I'd be ready to ship out early next week.

I got mine on the way! I only ordered 1 (the cool one), but I'm eagerly awaiting it and adding it to my collection on Tron SWAG. Maybe I'll get the whole set later...

on second thought, i dont think it will look good because then it wont have that blue translucent look. maybe just two versions of the coaster would be better.

Sorry I haven't posted this more timely. I got my EOLC coaster in the mail a while back and it is totally
A W E S O M E ! ! ! ! ! ! !
This clear blue plastic EOLC coaster is so professional looking, I really love it 10x more than the "real" cardboard EOLC coasters from the SDCC. For $6 apiece this is a TOTAL STEAL, and I'm almost ashamed I have the "real" cardboard coasters.
Tron fans, you really can't pass this up. The quality on these coasters are incredible. This is my new favorite Tron Swag collectible (after my #7 Arcade Aid poster of course...)

Thanks! I appreciate the kind words for my work.
I also have a few small updates for everyone... as you know, the EOLC coaster I reproduce is based on the cardboard coaster from the SDCC. I've recently scanned in the second side so I can make coasters of either side now:
I've also been playing around a few other options...
I would think it was somewhat obvious, but for the record I could make the EOLC coaster out of any type of acrylic I can I get locally. That includes the clear light blue material I've been using so far, clear dark blue acrylic, clear orange acrylic, solid blue acrylic, etc. Just send me an email or PM and we can discuss it.
I've also been playing around with "custom" EOLC coasters. I could replace the "EOLC" letters (both the big one and the small ones around the center) with your initials or any other short collection of letters/numbers. I could even replace the "phone number" if desired.
Here's a picture of two regular coasters (light blue & dark blue) plus a custom one with my initials in orange:
Let me know if anyone is interested.

Hope you are feeling better. I was thinking of doing ablue, light blue, & orange EOLC coaster one each front, one each back. Plus one each of the Tron & Tron Legacy discs.
Shoot me a pm and let me know what to paypal you.

PM sent.
Sorry for the delay (also directed at the others who recently PM'ed or emailed me). Can you believe that I'm been sick again this week? I ended up coming down with something last weekend that took me out of comission (i.e. in bed most of the day) last Sunday & Monday. I felt (barely) well enough to go to work on Tuesday & Wednesday but then felt horrible again on Wednesday night/Thursday. I finally feel a bit better today and finally have regained at least a little sense of taste... which sadly has been completely missing since last weekend.
I have no idea what's up. I've been sick more in the last 3 months than in the last 5 years...
