Unsolved questions Who is Black Knight?
What is Caretaker's name? Jake was insistent that it was in one of the documents he saw. Read this chat with him.
Why does Jake think that the US wasn't ever interested in time travel when the Tabas document clearly indicate frustration with SPECTRUM making advances in areas that had frustrated the US researchers?
What was it that caused Stephen Lake to overcome being chased off by Black Knight and come back to represent Jake?
Why is Caretaker so quick to trust our think tank when he is also so quick to accuse our members of being HandofEir and ForSeti20002000?
Who is running the software behind Acheron? How do we find out? http://www.cypher-systems.com What information does it have?
What was it that scared Jake so badly that he ran?
Who else was in that institution Marcus was in - the one for people like him? Are they relevant to the story?
Is someone undermining the time travel project? Who? Why?
Why have both Marcus and Caretaker individually referred to Craig Becker as a boy scout? Coincidence?
What is a "hopper"?
Who was LLL's mystery client?
Why was Jake arrested on trumped up charges? What benefit is there to keeping him under wraps? What equipment, files, and software were stolen, and who stole them?
What paperwork was it that Jake was filling out? Is it coincidence that Becker stopped by to check on him while he was doing so?
What's up with Turgenev's niece, Katrina? Why did he insist she come to the US when he defected? What is she doing now?
What's causing the power outages reported in the Coyote Dispatch?
Who is running CFRG? Are they interested in who Caretaker is merely out of curiosity, or more nefarious motives?
What did Caretaker want to tell Konamouse about her picture and Marcus?
Has Jake told Caretaker whether "he's still digging or decided to give in and just be a pushover."?
Why does Turgenev have Senate Committee hearings?
"<Caretaker> Do we know what files are on the site now vs. what could be there or modified tomorrow?" regarding CFRG - has anyone archived old articles and compared them to what's on there now?
Did Caretaker get the email address for Turgenev's niece?
What would happen if someone gave Marcus a Bible? He looks up expectantly.
That's all for now. Anyone have any other loose ends? I'd like to be prepared for when Caretaker pops in again.

Patience is the watch word here... wasn't that the solve for the "Could you decide?" hash from the Acheron Terminal page?
Maybe it is just the case that new information shows up sporatically and not on a set schedule. If you knew the game would update every Wednesday and Saturday, would it feel the same?
But then the Real world often doesn't operate on schedule sometimes either. If it did maybe I'd get my car back fromt he body shop a day sooner....

Well, CTW did updates at 9:00 to Dale's email account. Granted, he didn't get emails everyday, but at least it was something to look forward to. I just don't have time to hang around chatrooms waiting for ingame characters to *maybe* show up. The pre-game, L3, moved faster than this. And until we get some conformation from Reggie that he is talking bible verses with his number pairs, I don't see the need to persue it as the solve for this puzzle.

1. This isnt CTW, 2. The game is supposed to happen in real time. 3 If you post please post with your login name so we know who you are.

You mean the cargo tanker full parked out in the port of Palm Beach? I'll be bringing them with me to Orlando provided the Aztek is repaired in time for the trip.

I think part of the problem lies in a lack of "critical mass" of players participating in this game. From the sheer volume of Metacortex posts I'd say the majority of the community is off elsewhere.
Why should it matter? If you think of the players as a collective intelligence we have a portfolio of knowledge. The more players with knowledge/expertise in unrelated areas/fields, the stronger the collective intelligence. It may just be that the the current collection of people playing Acheron have very similar skill sets (cryptology, programming, etc.). One way to fix that is to diversify, or bring more people in who have different interests. There's probably someone out there who could look at some of these unsolved puzzles and say, "Hey! That's just like...".
/me returns to the shadows once more.

Oh, no. You are not allowed to return to the shadows, we need you for reaction mass.
I think Matrix has brought in a lot of newer players, who form the bulk of that group. They may or may not stick around. There are at least a few who are off taking a breather. Sunny and Ursula to name two.
Sure we may not currently have the numbers we did in CTW, but I think we have enough variety to get through things. Look at the puzzles we have solved since the beginning. the one based on the white "blank" background jpg was pretty unusual, yet we (primarily jamesi with a few assists) did manage to get it solved.
It does appear that the current pace of the game can be taxing for those who are used to fast paced and on demand puzzles. I for one like the fact that if I go to sleep, the next six puzzles will NOT be solved before I wake up. Having stayed up late far too many times for CTW, I may be frustrated by the pace, but at least it won't make me oversleep and late for work.

More questions Where did Jake get a one-million-dollar bond for release from jail?
And...
Remember that NRU student assaulted in January? Was Marcus involved in this assault in any way? (We know that he is capable of violence; he attacked Wheezy.) And if so, could the assault have been what led to his institutionalization in the first place?

But Marcus has said he has never been to the campus. Which has me thinking. If he has never been to the campus, then he must have worked on the security system off-site (not a large stretch to come up with that one). So... he must have worked with Acheron, right, in order to install a backdoor into the system?
Could our grey (or black, though we have seen little of them) foes be Acheron/the company that designed Acheron itself?

Per a hint from Caretaker, I think they may be related to the Conspiracy site CFRG: Caretaker mentioned they did not like the fact that Marcus/Reggie/John and Caretaker had placed information on their site without their permission. Since the first messages are still showing on the site, They are also having trouble removing them as well. Being a conspiracy site that must drive them up the wall.
MidKnight987 speculated that "grey" are "outside influences - which CFRG could be.
**Edit** There was also a mention that Reggie/Marcus/ John Baxter worked for DARPA with a fairly high clearance and "disappeared off the radoar about a year or so ago. Since Acheron supposedly protected "Carnivore" during development, can we say that Acheron is a DARPA project as well?

I was thinking that a "hopper" could be someone would time travels?
That they "hop" though time.
Don't see how that helps us very much though.
