My family has a tradition of the fathers first name being the child's middle name.

I don't want people calling me by my middle name

Because I don't want to hear my girlfriend moan my dads name in my ear while we're having sex.

It's a very southern thing.I was born and raised in IL and moved south when I was 20.I have lived mostly in the south since then (I'm now 48 ) and one of the things I discovered here is that folks,especially males,often go by their middle name.I learned this with people I met and became friends with personally,and also by being a nurse for 8 years.

Well, she also wants Ross Perot as Secretary of State. That's an unholy trinity right there. Sarah, Santorum and Perot. *shudders* I'm glad Timmerica will be safe with Sutton/Wagner or at least Grapefruit/DeLage.
