So I just got the Season 1 Remastered DVD. The most interesting part to me, in addition to confirmation that the basement was in fact the basement below that hospital, was that Masky wasn't originally intended to actually be Tim in the story. Before they shot the entry, Tim was just going to attack Jay without the mask, and it was just gonna be him being crazy, but he thought of the mask the day of the shoot, and put it on Tim. By the time Entry #18 was up, they didn't necessarily consider being Tim to be part of Masky's story he was "Just a crazy guy" played by the same person. Their decision, very shortly thereafter, to make him Tim was partially pushed by fan's analyzing his sideburns, but it mostly had to do with Tim being really available. Also, although they really didn't intend for Tim to seem nervous in 15, the idea that he could be up to something was "always a possibility" for them, and people noticing he was nervous led to them thinking of expanding the character in the first place.

The other sort of interesting thing was Season 1 was originally gonna end with Jay saying this was the final entry. They were still gonna do Season 2, but it was going to be more ambiguous at first. After they filmed him saying that in the hotel, they decided they needed something more, but they also decided to use that footage anyway.

EDIT: The totheark S is supposed to stand for Stigmata. It's supposed to connect to Alex bleeding out of the head. They dropped the plot point before it was revealed. How did I forget that?

Got my remastered Season 1 DVD yesterday. Wow, the Season 1 video quality actually looks like it belongs with 2 and 3 now! Also, turns out the fans of the series have a big part in what created Masky.

Oh wait, I just read the SoundCloud page description. Five minutes left on the recording,though. The recordings are in the last 90 seconds of the episode, and I'm the last voice you hear on those recordings.

I don't know where to put this, but the description for Entry #80 isn't showing up for me. There's literally no description. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm just curious.
