 		Is it just me or had anyone else the feeling as if THAC wanted to give us a hint regarding the new series?
Since the 22nd had no events and we are back to the scrambled mess of loose hints, mails, .gif and production blogs, we are left in the open. What if the start of the new series at least is more ARG-y? What if they wait with posting the first video until we solve some riddles? (Or find some riddles for starters)

Dude, that idea's been getting kicked around a bit on the THAC boards. Most of us don't think it'll be a full-blown ARG but some of us seem to think it'll be more consistently ARG-like than Marble Hornets was. Not me--I think this ARG stuff is more a way of transitioning from one series to the next and drawing us in. I personally think the series began at least with the "44" tweet almost four months ago. Then there's that brief flicker of distortion with the figure and the cryptic phrase "EACHUSE/SORROW" during the Season Three credits... That could be seen as the start too .

Here are some riddles we have:

Why have two strange gifs, one of which is quite ominous, been posted with two parallel rows of characters framing them?

Why and how are the emails from dscott3872, including an apparent OWA Assistant message that was cc'd, getting disrupted with the "doyouhearfootsteps" message? Who's doing it?

For that matter, who is dscott3872? What relationship does this individual have to the Marble Hornets site?

What the fuck is going on with Alex's production blog, in which he seems to be putting on a brave face in order to save it, being posted in stages two years after his apparent death and almost a decade after the film was cast and begun?

Not a riddle, but anyone wanna bet the "About the film" section of the website will be one of the next releases, and likely the final release?

Yeah, I know all of this stuff. But whenever I check here or the THAC forums, all I read is off-topic, memes, people saying how hype they are and people saying for what date they gonna wait. If feel like there is no real proplem solving going on, or if it is, it seems to be buried very deep under a pile of offtopic, so that I miss it when I check the board once a day.

Other that that, I kinda miss a centerpiece of the puzzle, some sort of basis on which we can rely and try to piece all the loose ends to. I guess the marblehornets.com site should be that at the moment, but I really can't see how all the different stuff related to that side should fit together.

Well the forums do revolve around THAC rather than ARGs. It's bound to be goofy.

 		Most of you are aware of this, but for those unfags who haven't migrated to the THAC forums a tweet or two of Joseph's has been doing the rounds there. In particular this one

Followed by two very crass and pointless photos of Joseph's face up close and the sky covered by trees.

The tweet that came the day before the goofin twitpic was "Anybody around the Pelham/Helena/Birmingham area available for a goof today?"

It's entirely possible and likely they were filming a sketch, but the fact that the went to the effort to go back to MH's gazebo is a little suspect, though the fact that an open call for people to show up seems to knock that as well. It seems like if this is for the new series, a selfie is the last thing they would do during production, that said, I don't see Troy, who would be the most precious about being tight-lipped.

But with a shaven Tim in assumed costume, one can't help but wonder what they were filming. Especially when Joseph posted this earlier



nowhere does it say THAC channel video and if it were an episode of WOAQ I'm sure he'd say. But if this week's video turns out not to be 44, I'd still keep my eye on the 20th, especially the twitter.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were something substantively "big." Joseph's the one who promoted the Kickstarter and the Patreon.

I hope it's "44"... I love the puzzle of the gifs and posthumously released blog and the oddly intercepted emails. But I want to see this thing start already.

It may be upload and set to private so only that THAC boys can see it when they log in to the MH account, if it's on there. That way it means it's uploaded and they can set it public when they want to start the series. Rather than waiting till the day they want and have technical issues.
